Day 1 After checking in at Shore Cliff Hotel, play a game of bocce ball in the Coastal Courtyard and take a stroll to the gazebo. Sit down for lunch on the patio at Custom House, where you can enjoy ocean views and delicious fresh seafood.

Drive a little ways away from the oceanfront to Avila Valley Barn

Beach Drive. Not only do they sell fresh, local produce, baked goods, homemade fudge and gifts, but they also have farm animals available to pet and feed. Stroll around their grounds or take a tractor ride around their lush fields of produce. Head back to downtown Pismo Beach for an oceanfront dinner at the Oyster Loft. Located in San Luis Obispo, Sunset Drive-In is an amazing piece of preserved American history.

Day 2 Start your day listening to the gentle waves while enjoying your complimentary breakfast at Shore Cliff Hotel. Grab a plate or two and a cup of coffee to be enjoyed out at the Coastal Courtyard. Head north to San Simeon for a visit to Hearst Castle

Day 2 continued On your way back south, make a pit stop in Morro Bay for a waterfront lunch and some souvenir shopping. You can’t miss the 581-foot volcanic Morro Rock right along the bay. Morro Rock has an amazing history, named during the first European land exploration of Alta California in the 1700s. You can even visit the surrounding base! Return to Pismo Beach for dinner and some more sightseeing! Grab a bite at one of the many famous eateries, like Splash Café or Woody’s. Stroll along the boardwalk with some ice cream and admire the Pismo Beach Pier, originally built in 1881. 26

Day 3 Sleep in a little and grab a cup of coffee while enjoying the beautiful views from your private balcony or patio! It’s time to explore Downtown San Luis Obispo! Drive over and park near Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa

destination. Not only is the Mission still a fully functioning parish, but there’s also a museum and gift shop to explore. Docentled tours of the Mission start at 1:15pm, so show up a little early to make sure you have a spot! There are tons of delicious lunch spots in Downtown San Luis Obispo. Try out a new cuisine or style of food, like the locallysourced small plates at Luna Red or the allvegan restaurant Bliss Café. On your way back to Pismo, stop at Point San Luis Lighthouse
in Avila Beach.
Founded in 1890, this historical spot was originally used as a beacon over San Luis Bay and is the only surviving Prairie Victorian model lighthouse on the West Coast! 28
