MHS Choir Prepares for Annual Musical

The Martensville High School Choir has been hard at work 591 Centennial Drive North Martensville (8 minutes north of Saskatoon) perfecting their skills for opening www.saskfunerals.ca Phone: 306) 242-7888 (24 hours per day) Fax: (306) 242-7889 - Email: cherishedmemories@sasktel.net night of this year’s performance • Newly Expanded LifeStory Room & “Once Upon a Mattress”. A cast of 14 Reception Room members, along with a nine person • Cremations, Funerals & Receptions stage/sound/light crew began working • Lowest price, Highest Quality on the musical this past spring, and • Family-Owned following summer break, jumped 306.242.7888 (24 hours per day) right back in with rehearsals that took saskfunerals.ca place most mornings, during lunch breaks and after school. The concept 591 Centennial Drive North - Martensville for this year’s musical is based on the fairytale about the Princess and Maddog the Pea. “I chose this musical simply Lottery because I thought it would be fun. Rodgers & Hammerstein write the Winners music and they always write fantastic 2018 music. I love the lyrics to the songs, as they are funny and light hearted,” 1st Place - Craig Robertson Martensville (2 Ticket Game Hotel MHS Teacher and Director Mrs. Beck and Restaurant Package) explained. With the students involved putting in many hours ensuring they 2nd Place - Tasha Gutek are prepared, Beck noted that there is Martensville (Sony 55” Smart TV) an abundance of pride working with this group. “It has been really fun 3rd Place Russell Empey to see the students internalize their Martensville (2018 Fan Rider Jersey) roles and really become the person that they are playing. I hope people 4th Place - Quinn Brown-Dalmeny (CFL Diversity T-shirt) come out and enjoy the show. It is funny and the students have worked The Maddogs would like to thank so hard.” Because We Care
