THANK YOU!

Fitness Classes Aqua Fit

A class for everyone, especially for those with joint ailments or injuries, get fit with this challenging water workout. After a gentle warm-up in the calm water, you’ll ease into the exercises using your own body weight

Kettlebell Kickboxing

This is a class that combines both kettlebells and kickboxing to improve mobility, strength, balance, functionality, flexibility, and endurance. This class will burn twice as many calories as a regular aerobic class.

A light warm-up using the noodles followed by all your favourite yoga poses with noodles as stability props. The water allows us the buoyancy to move into poses not achievable on land. If you always wanted to try yoga but were worried about balance issues, this may be your answer!!

This is a combo class that involves moderate weight training and cardio to enhance strength and endurance. A full body workout that will challenge and energize you!! We’ll get your heart rate pumping!

This class involves linking several yoga poses together to create strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance. The classes will effectively work all parts of the body equally, creating an experience of non-judgement and noncompetitiveness. We will focus on alignment using the threemountain format, warm-up, work phase and cool down. Be prepared to sweat a bit and leave feeling relaxed. All levels welcome, modifications offered at each class.

Practice the form of the basic yoga postures, while allowing yourself to experience a gentle slower paced class. Attention to connecting breath mindfully to move through the postures and creating a balance for greater health and mental awareness.

An indoor program progressing to the goal of jogging 3 kilometres at your own speed. We begin with a warmup walk of 5 minutes, a 10 minute stretch, a combination of walking and jogging intervals for 35 minutes and a 10 minute cool down and stretch. Absolutely no competition and do everything at your own level. Bring a water bottle, small towel and indoor shoes.

Fitness Classes

Thank youLearn totothe resident Jog of the constituency of Martensville-Warman for yo Body Sculpt overwhelming support! It i Yin Yoga humbling and an honour t Flow Yoga be asked to be your MLA a your voice inZumba Regina. I loo Gentle Yoga forward to serving you ove the next 4 years. Aqua Yoga

Yin yoga is a gentle practice that uses longer holds to move deep into the body’s connective tissues. The YIN practice is designed to relieve stress while the heat stimulates deep muscle release and relaxation. This is an excellent non-weight bearing style of yoga for all levels, those who prefer a less vigorous class and for those experiencing illness, injury or chronic pain. It is also a great compliment to a regular yoga class.

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music that will make you sweat. Interval training at its best. Be prepared to ditch your normal workout and join the party. Featuring samba, meringue, reggaeton steps and more. Bring your water bottle and a towel.

Martensville in motion Together with Saskatchewan in motion we’ve started a process to weave physical literacy into our community’s very essence. Our goal is to get kids and families moving more, making our vision of a healthy, active community a reality. With in motion, we brought local stakeholders together in January to develop our Year 1 Action Plan. Our community has since been taking action, completing tasks that increase physical literacy opportunities for kids in Martensville. Our year one priorities are; awareness and education, school as a hub for physical literacy, physical literacy enhanced sport and recreation and unstructured outdoor opportunities For more information or to find out how you can get involved in this process, contact Angie Reddekopp at (306) 683-5577 or recprograms@martensville.ca. Sask Valley Riding Club The Sask Valley Riding Club was formed in 1996 and is made up of members of all ages, promoting a family atmosphere. As a club we enjoy spending time with other people, both riders and non-riders alike, that share our interest in horses. In doing so, we are given a chance to learn from each other and the various experts we have contact with along the way. Our goals include helping each other, helping our horses and helping our community. Both English and Western riders can enjoy the advantages of membership. We coordinate various riding clinics for club members throughout the year and take part in as many local parades as we can. Our members also enjoy getting outside and hitting the trails as a rewarding way to enjoy nature. Whether you’re just looking for some new people to ride with or for the opportunity to learn a little more about your horse in a relaxed atmosphere, the Club may be right for you. Come on out and let’s see what we can learn from each other. Contact the SVRC at SaskValleyRidingClub@gmail.com, like us on facebook, or check the website – www.saskvalleyridingclub.com
