Buster Days and City Current and Past Bantam AA Martensville Programming Cancelled Marauders Shine in WHL Bantam Draft Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic Jocelyn Ottenbreit, Martensville Messenger

The 2020 WHL Bantam Draft showed current and past Bantam AA Martensville Marauder talent shine as seven Marauders were drafted on April 22nd.

Riley Heidt played for the Bantam AA Martensville Marauders from 2017-2019 where he had 153 points (58G-95A) in 62 games. This 5-foot-8, 150 pound winger played with the Saskatoon Contacts in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League (SMAAAHL) this past season. Heidt was chosen in Round one, #2 overall in the WHL Bantam draft with Prince George. Granted special status by the Saskatchewan Hockey Association to play at midget level, he was considered one of the top forwards in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

Heidt was fifth in team scoring with 37 points (17G-20A) and played in 44 games for the Contacts.

Another Marauder alumnus who played in the Bantam AA 2018-2019 season was Brayden Yager. He racked up103 points (44G-59A) in 31 games. “Teammates Yager and Heidt were instrumental in leading this team to a League and Provincial title in 20182019. They both played as under aged players this past season in the SMAAAHL,” said Martensville Minor Hockey President Trevor Hanley. At 5-foot-11, 165 pounds, this forward from Saskatoon played last season with the Saskatoon Contacts as well finishing third in team scoring with 42 points (18G-24A) in 44 games. He was chosen third overall in Round one by the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Trae Johnson from Martensville was selected by the Brandon Wheat Kings in the second round 35th overall. He had 36 goals and 31 assists for 67 points in his 2019-2020 year with the Marauders.

Another Marauder from Martensville who also had his name called up in round 4 and 85th overall was Rylan Pearce to the Kamloops Blazers. Pearce had a total of 40 points (10G-30A) in his 2019-2020 season with the Bantam AA Marauders.

Marauders Midget alum Alex Worthington from Waldheim got called by the Edmonton Oil Kings. He was chosen 108th overall in round five. Worthington joined the Martensville Midget A team as an underage player in the 2018/2019 season.

The sixth Marauder to be drafted in the 2020 WHL Bantam draft was Tyson Durant. This strong forward from Martensville was drafted in the 9th Round 194th overall

by Spokane. Durant had 26 goals and 26 assists for a total of 52 points with the Marauders.

The seventh player called up from the Martensville Bantam AA Marauder team was Easton Adrian from Dalmeny. Adrian was chosen in round 11, 240th overall with the Edmonton Oil Kings!

Congratulations to all these amazingly talented boys and best of luck in the future!

Although there is a plan in place to gradually re-open Saskatchewan, there are still safety restrictions in place to ensure the health of the public continues in the right direction. With this, sporting events, community events and programming has all been cancelled for the time being.

The City of Martensville has cancelled all programming at this time due to the public health order in place by the Provincial Government. “All of our facilities are closed and the schools are shut down, so the avenues that we used for programming are not available either. The City has refunded everyone for all programs that have been cancelled by the City. We did not keep any administration fees or anything like that.

If a program didn’t run, we refunded it,” Angie Reddekopp, City of Martensville Program Coordinator, said.

As for other service groups in the community, Reddekopp noted that many of them have been put on hold or cancelled as well, although some are waiting to see if they can potentially run a partial season that takes place later in the summer as opposed to the spring.

The re-opening of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities will take place in Phase 4 of the plan to re-open Saskatchewan and at this time, there is no date in place as to when this will happen. “We are waiting on the province to let us know when it is okay for us to open and start operating again.”

The season for the Martensville Aquatic Centre is still currently up in the air, although Reddekopp noted that the City of Martensville hopes to have information out to the public within the next couple of weeks. “There is a possibility of opening for a shorter season, but that has not been confirmed at this time.

Swimming lessons were supposed to

open on May 11th, so we were hoping to have an answer to everyone prior to that so that people know what to expect for summer, but again, that all depends on announcements from the province and we don’t have any answers until then.”

In addition to programming being cancelled, a community favorite event has also been terminated this year. Buster Days, which was scheduled to take place June 5th, 6th and 7th, will not be happening. “I have worked with the City for 20 years and we have never fully cancelled this event. We have had to make changes or shut down parts of the event due to weather, but this is something new and very disappointing,” Reddekopp said.

With the cancellation of Buster Days, it impacts many areas of the community.

Local residents will not get to take part in some of their favorite annual activities and many service groups that volunteer their time towards the event will not receive the financial donation that they would typically receive from contributing to the fun-filled weekend.

“Buster Days is a big community event and it brings everyone back to that small town feel.

For that weekend, our community is booming and vibrant and everyone seems to have such a good attitude. The fact that we are going to miss that this year is really disappointing for a lot of people.”

Events for Canada Day are still unclear, and as the event get closer to Canada’s birthday, more announcements will be made.

“The main purpose is to keep everyone safe and healthy. The province has put down rules and regulations and we are following those to keep everyone safe in our community. Martensville will bounce back.

We will get back out there, get active again and be there ready to go as soon as we get the go ahead. We look forward to seeing you all again soon,” stated Reddekopp.

Civic Services During the COVID-19 PandemicWhat you Should Know!

At this time, all City facilities are closed to the public, including reception areas. City Staff are available to work with the public via phone or email. Questions or inquiries can be directed to City Hall via phone (306-931-2166) or inquiry@martensville.ca during this time.

Residents and Customers are requested to carry out transactions electronically such as online banking, preauthorized payments or TIPPS. Cheques may also be dropped off in the drop slot at City Hall.

After Hour Water and Sewer Emergencies - should still be directed through the Emergency line at City Hall, (306) 931-2166, ext.1.

Protective Services - There are no changes in duty or status to Protective Services such as the RCMP, Martensville Fire Department, and Ambulance Service.

Water and Sewer - These services remain unimpacted and unchanged, including water quality testing. Meter reading will continue to take place; however, staff will not be doing reads of meters located inside of homes or occupied buildings. In these cases, estimates will be taken or reads can be provided into City Hall. In respect to water and sewer emergencies, city staff will not be able to enter resident homes at this time and private contractors should be considered. The City of Martensville will no longer be charging interest on water and sewer accounts indefinitely to assist residents impacted by the COVID -19 impacts.

Garbage and Recycling - Services remain in place and on schedule with no anticipated service delays at this time.

Road Maintenance - will continue as required, including snow removal, and is not expected to change at this time.

Seniors Treated to Musical Performance Shanine Sealey, Martensville Messenger

On Thursday, April 23rd, residents at the Martensville Care Home were treated to a musical performance by Heather Duncan Mann, a Music Teacher at Valley Manor Elementary School.

This was the first performance that is planned through an initiative created by Martensville resident Heather Isaac. Isaac, who is an administrator on the Facebook Page ‘Martensville & Area Community News’, wanted to do something to create some positivity for the local seniors. “It’s a small thing that can make a difference to a sometimes forgotten demographic in our city. Glad I can be a part of it,” Isaac said.

Protect your Property and Be Ready for Spring Thaw With prolonged cold temperatures and snow accumulation, and now moving into milder climates, we are expecting a rapid melt. This may lead to seepage of water into basement or water to accumulate on property. We are all responsible to protect our own property and mitigate any potential risks. Provided are some helpful tips and tasks to help prevent water seeping into your basement or accumulating on your property.

1. Extend downspouts at least two metres (six feet) from your basement walls. The further the water is from the foundation, the less chance that it will make its way into your basement. Splash pads can help direct the water to a permeable surface, such as a garden or lawn. Clear debris from your eavestroughs (gutters) to prevent them from overflowing. If your eavestroughs or downspouts overflow even when they are clean, install larger ones.

2. Consider moving snow away from the foundation of your home, to prevent a large degree of melting immediately adjacent to your foundation.

3. Ensure proper grading around your home and property or build up the ground slope around your home. Soil should slope down from your foundation and window wells for at least two to three metres (about six to ten feet) at a drop of at least 10-20 centimetres (about four to eight inches). If water soaks into the ground within the backfill zone, it will accumulate next to your basement walls and floor, where it can leak in or damage the foundation. Check your ground slope annually, because soil, sidewalks, patios, decks and driveways can settle over time. You can find grade elevation information on Martensville.ca.

4. Check the drainage paths on your property. Ensure that storm water flows to the lane or street, not towards your home. It also shouldn’t flow into your neighbour’s yard.

Property should be graded to keep water flowing in the right direction. If water pools on your property, consider pumping it to the street.

5. Fix leaks in basement walls, floors, windows and doors.

6. If you have protective plumbing, such as backflow valves and sump pumps, make sure they are working properly.

7. If you are away from your property for a period (2-3 days) have someone check the property to ensure water is not coming into the basement.

8. Elevate and/or store important equipment and personal items as to avoid damage in case of water seepage.

City crews will ensure streets, catch basins, and drain ways are clear to ensure the spring melt does not back up on city streets and onto properties so we can all enjoy and have a worry-free spring.

Local Fire Departments Join Forces to Battle Blaze Shanine Sealey, Martensville Messenger

Emergency crews from Dalmeny, Warman, Osler, Saskatoon and Martensville were on scene for a large grass fire on Saturday, April 25th. RCMP and Corman Park Police were also called to the scene to assist in traffic control.

The fire was located south of Highway 305 and the Martensville Fire Department received the call at 2:43pm, and arrived on scene at 2:57pm with 2 grass trucks, a tanker and a pumper.

“The fire consumed a large area threatening acreages. It was fast moving due to wind and dry conditions, but was stopped at Highway 305,” MFD Deputy Fire Chief Dean Brooman said.

Although several residents within the area were asked to evacuate temporarily as crews worked together to get the fire under control, no homes were lost in the blaze.

and three-quarters long and a half mile wide, the MFD left the scene at 11:30pm.

As we move into a dryer season, Brooman reminds people to be Fire Smart and take precautions when starting a fire.

“Use common sense and do not light a fire on windy/dry days and dispose of cigarettes in a safe manner.”

Brooman also noted that residents should watch for fire bans from the RM of Corman Park and the City of Martensville.

New Pandemic Modelling Shows Improved Outlook For Saskatchewan

On April 28th, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) released new data showing that Saskatchewan is in a significantly better position to manage COVID-19 as a result of the interventions taken to date to slow the spread of the virus.

New Saskatchewan specific information shows Saskatchewan's Basic Reproductive Number for the virus as 3.12. This means the average number of people a single COVID-19 positive person in Saskatchewan would infect, had no interventions been undertaken and everyone was susceptible. With the introduction of public health measures in March and April 2020, the Effective Reproductive Number in Saskatchewan is 0.7 as of April 25. This is the average number of people one person with the virus is likely to infect at the current time, after the effects of the interventions have been factored in. This changes daily as behaviours and interventions change.

“This new data brings with it cautious optimism,” Saskatchewan Health Authority CEO Scott Livingstone said. “Thanks to the Saskatchewan people's efforts and our own robust actions on testing, contact tracing and other public health measures, we are flattening the curve and helping ensure our health system can manage the surge in demand that may come from COVID-19.”

The SHA is using the new Saskatchewan-specific Basic Reproductive Number to adjust its planning scenarios, maintaining its commitment to plan for the worst, while aiming for the best. The Effective Reproductive Number will be used to guide decisions specifically about public health measures.

This will help the province to make real-time adjustments to relax or tighten public restrictions, as needed, to help prevent a resurgence of COVID-19, while also balancing the need for a very gradual return to normalcy.

The SHA will release the Effective Reproductive Number weekly to help inform the public on the effect of current interventions or relaxed restrictions in Saskatchewan. Analysis going back to early March indicates that the value of this number has been under one since early April.

The SHA also released updated information on the adjustments it is making to its COVID-19 Readiness Plan as a result of this new data.

Highlights from the offensive portion of the SHA's COVID-19 Health System Readiness plan include; Maximizing testing capacity, accessibility and speed, including ongoing expansion of rapid testing capability across the province and outreach to populations less likely to seek testing; Surging contact tracing to stay ahead of demand, including a plan to meet any scenario up to 618 news cases per day in Saskatchewan; Helping prevent spread by restricting staff to work in a single facility; Contingency planning to use hotels to cohort COVID-19 positive patients who require intermediate care; Continuing to expand virtual care options to provide continuity of service while maintaining physical distancing, wherever possible.

The SHA's defensive strategy portion of the plan focuses on the readiness of our acute care services to meet any potential surge in demand from COVID-19.

Highlights from the adjustments made to this part of the plan include; New planning scenario assumptions now estimate needing 1,000 fewer hospital beds, 400 fewer ICU beds and 400 fewer ventilators than previously announced on April 8, 2020; Continued preparation for field hospitals in Saskatoon and Regina to enable the SHA to scale up, if needed.

The SHA and Ministry of Health are also developing a plan to resume, in a staged approach, community services, elective surgeries and diagnostics that were impacted by earlier service slowdowns.

This will be released in the near future. The elements of this plan will be activated in phases, with each phase triggered by surveillance data on transmission of the virus in the community. Identification of which services will resume will consider factors such as highest priority patient needs, risk of transmission of the virus, impact on COVID-19 surge capacity, impact on inventory of personal protective equipment and other factors.

“Going forward there will be ups and downs in our fight against COVID-19,” Saskatchewan Health Authority Chief Medical Officer Dr. Susan Shaw said. “That is why it is so critical that we be guided by the data and be willing to adapt as we learn more about COVID-19 and how the virus is behaving in the Saskatchewan context. While we support the province's plan for gradually re-opening the province, it is a critical time to remind Saskatchewan residents that this will be a phased process where we still need our citizens to be vigilant and practice the same precautions that have proven effective to date.”

Saskatchewan residents can continue to help by taking specific action, including; Practicing good hygiene, washing hands regularly and physical distancing (two metres apart wherever possible); Stay home, whenever and wherever possible; Abide by provincial and local travel, self-isolation, event and gathering restrictions; Avoid visiting our hospitals and long-term care facilities, unless there are compassionate reasons for doing so.

It’s Getting Better, But It May Not Seem So

Things are getting better, although it may be hard to convince people that this is the case. After all, there are legitimate reasons of late to think that the impact of this COVID-19 pandemic is making things much worse.

The past week or so seemed pretty gruesome on all fronts … other than the reality that our COVID-19 cases are actually steadily decreasing.

It started with news from Premier Scott Moe and Finance Minister Donna Harpauer that the 2020-21 Saskatchewan budget revenue shortfall might be anywhere between $1.3 billion and $3.3 billion. That would imply a record annual deficit for the province of Saskatchewan.

Good for Moe and Harpauer for at least making us aware of this reality a month after releasing only government spending estimates without any meaningful revenue projections. As potentially bad as this news is, it’s always better to know about the worst case scenarios in advance.

Yes, it was a bit of a disservice for Moe and Harpauer to suggest this would be a “pandemic deficit” and that there was no major worries about it extending into future years.

Beyond the fact that no one can say for certain how long the economic effect will be, we already know that COVID-19 spending and this lost revenue will add to the costs of servicing the debt.

We also know that Saskatchewan public debt was creeping up towards $23 billion long before this massive revenue dip. The next unfortunate bad news was the price of a barrel oil dipping into negative territory, meaning that oil companies would, at least in theory, pay you to store their oil that day.

This is devastating news for the oil industry that will affect large areas of rural Saskatchewan. To be clear, oil is not valueless and it will rebound - likely when Saudi Arabia and Russia stop playing games by overproducing to flood the market, but its economic impact will hurt for some time to come.

And all of this happened at a time when the country had just witnessed its biggest mass murder in its history. This only added to the pallor.

In short, it’s getting hard to feel good right now, so maybe now is the time to remind ourselves that there are still a lot of things to feel good about. The first good thing is that for the past two weeks, the daily increase in new COVID-19 cases is in the low single digits. Recoveries are now outdistancing new cases.

As of the writing of this column, active COVID-19 cases have been reduced to 65 cases in this province with only four deaths. That is magnificent news - news so good that the Premier has begun the process of an ever-so-slow re-opening of the economy.

It can and should be done with keeping the focus on-going social distancing measures that have stopped the spread and flattened the curve. We can do both; stop the spread and open business, although perhaps not to the satisfaction of everyone.

But one other thing that maybe people are not thinking too much about is how much this is bringing us together. Sure, that’s not always been the case.

News of the oil price crash brought out a few selfrighteous comments from environmentalists. And some in the oil sector were clearly unappreciative of federal and provincial support for programs like the one to clean up abandoned wells that have long been the industry’s responsibility.

But while some have been reacting out of fear and anger, the vast majority of Saskatchewan people have reacted with generosity and kindness.

We have returned to our Saskatchewan values and traditions of looking out for our neighbours. All this may have reminded us who we really are.

Saskatchewan’s 2020 Big Game Draw Opens Online May 1

Saskatchewan’s big game draw opens on May 1. Hunters have until midnight on May 25 to submit their online applications.

“Hunting is a popular pastime in Saskatchewan and the big game draw continues to be an important milestone for hunters,” Environment Minister Dustin Duncan said. “The Ministry of Environment works with the hunting community each year to improve the process and encourages all hunters to apply early.”

The 2020 Big Game Draw Supplement provides Saskatchewan resident hunters with information on seasons and quotas for draw species, as well as advance notice of any changes to this fall's regular big game seasons.

Given recent mild winters, increased hunting opportunities for elk, pronghorn, mule deer and white-tailed deer will be available.

Changes remain in place to the big game draw pool system, which expanded the draw from four to six priority pools in 2018. The majority of applicants who qualified for the Legacy pool in 2019 were successfully drawn and the number of hunters moving from the Super A pool to Legacy pool remains low. The chances of being drawn are very good for those applicants eligible for the Legacy pool.

Apply early and use the online residency verification tool to avoid complications. Draws for several of the species receive a high number of applications compared to the number of licences available. For these species, the odds of being drawn will be low, even for applications in the top priority pool.

The application process remains largely unchanged. However, with no front-counter service at ministry field offices due to COVID-19, applications must be completed online. Information regarding the application, priority pools, wildlife management zone (WMZ) quotas and detailed application instructions are available at www.saskatchewanlicences. active.com.

The big game draw is administered through the Saskatchewan Hunting, Angling and Trapping Licence (HAL) system. Clients can submit, review and update their applications, check pool status history and purchase a draw licence through their HAL accounts.

Draw results will be available through HAL accounts in mid-June, with the exception of pronghorn, which will be available in mid-July. Applicants are responsible for checking their own draw results.

Successful applicants will be able to purchase licences through their HAL accounts beginning August 1, 2020.

Researchers at the U of S who are working towards a vaccine, a SK-founded company at the forefront of developing rapid-testing, and engineers who have developed 3D-printable N95 masks, to name just a few.

We see it in all of the people in my riding of Regina Qu’Appelle, across Saskatchewan and in communities across the country who are working so incredibly hard on the front lines– from the nurses and doctors and healthcare workers, to support staff, truck drivers, cleaners, pharmacists and grocery store workers.

And in all of you, who are observing physical distancing and sacrificing time with family and friends in order to flatten the curve and keep the most vulnerable among us safe. The parents who have now become teachers, while trying to work from home. Neighbours running errands for the elderly. Community groups collecting food and essential supplies for those who have lost their jobs and are worried about the future.

It is that strength and resilience that inspires our entire Conservative team to work just as hard for you.

We have been part of Team Canada since Day 1, putting forward constructive solutions to help Canadians affected by the pandemic.

Because of the work done by our Conservative caucus, the wage subsidy was raised from 10% to 75%. We made sure that small business loans became more accessible.

We didn’t give up until the government finally began to help the energy sector. And we won’t stop, because there is so much more to be done.

Conservatives recognize that we must continue to help Canadians through the health impacts of this crisis.

We have called on the government to fast-track Health Canada approvals for new drugs and tests, including the ones developed right here in Saskatchewan. We also continue to advocate for front-line healthcare workers to make sure that they have the personal protective equipment they need.

We’ve also proposed ways to further help businesses and workers by allowing banks and credit unions to deliver loans until companies’ wage subsidies arrive, rebating the GST that small businesses have collected in the last twelve months, and to increasing the Charitable Donation Tax Credit, which will provide much-needed support to those who are working to help those who have been hit hardest by this crisis.

And earlier this week, we proposed a new program to match students and youth employees with jobs in the agriculture and agri-food sector, to address labour shortages in Canada’s food supply chains.

We will continue to press the government about their plans to increase testing and tracing so that health restrictions can be revised when it is safe, so that Saskatchewanians can get back to work and start to help rebuild our economy.

The last six weeks have been extremely difficult for Canadians. My thoughts are with all of those who have lost loved ones. The recovery process will be long.

However, working together, I know that we will emerge stronger than ever. Please know that our Conservative team is working hard on your behalf.

For the students at VHS, they saw an issue at the local arena where water was being wasted and worked together to create a solution. “Their idea to conserve water is to get new faucets installed into the six dressing rooms at the Martensville arena. They noticed how much water was getting wasted when they fill up their water bottles. The current faucets are very short, so when you fill up your water bottle half of the water gets dumped out when you take it away from the faucet. They would like to get new, tall faucets installed so this doesn’t happen,” Jill Shumay explained.

Shumay noted that if the group of four is able to find a way through sponsorship to implement their idea, Nutrien will pay for half of the project; up to $1000.

Congratulations to these students for their hard work and dedication towards this project. Our community is very proud of you.

How the Coronavirus Will Change Travel Submitted by Dean Johnston

A lot has changed in our lives over the past few months and, unfortunately, not all of it is going back to normal when the spread of COVID-19 eventually slows down. And, while it is true that people often display an incredible (some might say irrational) ability to forget, some of the changes in the travel industry are probably here to stay.

1.

Domestic travel is back. Most international flights have been grounded, governments are turning foreigners away and everyone is (or at least should be) concerned that wherever they go, they could end up stranded there indefinitely. Luckily for us, Canada is a huge and diverse country with endless recreational options. Expect a lot more people to steer clear of complicated international travel and instead explore their own country this year, particularly focusing on wide open spaces – hiking, camping, boating, swathing - that they can reach by car.

2.

All-inclusive beach resorts will undergo a serious overhaul. Social interaction and physical mingling are practically mantras of the hedonistic all-inclusive holidays Canadians love so much. While this season is obviously finished, these resorts should be open for business again by next winter and there are probably going to be some very good deals to be had. But the key is going to be convincing potential guests of impeccable standards of hygiene. Buffet servers, industrious teams of workers constantly disinfecting all common areas and hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere are just a few of the innovations you can expect.

Being a snowbird just got a lot more complicated. As if border restrictions, isolation recommendations, age risk, and health insurance exclusions weren’t going to be troublesome enough, the reckless behaviour of some returning snowbirds this year is going to reflect badly on the group as a whole. While most snowbirds returned to Canada in a timely and careful manner, the irresponsible few that ignored precautions, potentially spread the virus from town to town all the way through the U.S and then refused to isolate upon arriving home is going to mean added scrutiny and suspicion next winter.

4.

Focus on safety and hygiene. Travellers are going to be far more selective about their destinations. Instead of just watching out for armed conflicts and recent natural disasters, now people will be scouring all the latest COVID-19 statistics and travel restrictions before booking that next trip. Then, once they hit the road, it is going to be all about disinfecting, obsessive hand washing, and avoiding hotspots like water fountain buttons and busy door handles. We’re already learning just how much we can accomplish using our elbows.

5.

Changing attitudes. On the one hand, travellers should probably expect a less enthusiastic welcome in most parts of the world. If this whole fiasco has taught us one thing that we’ve been teaching our kids for years, it’s “stranger danger”. If it has taught us two, the other is to not suck our thumbs. One benefit, however, is that when (not if) we are allowed to travel freely once again, we are going to appreciate it on a whole new level. For at least a year or two, then we’ll go back to complaining about having to take our shoes off in security and resume shaking our heads at the people who stand up as soon as the plane stops. It’ll be fun while it lasts, though.

Of course, the list goes on. Here are a few more aspects of travel sure to be affected by the greatest tragedy of our generation:

A lot of people will return to using a travel agent to book their trips.

7.

The cruise ship industry is in for a major overhaul – fewer cruises, fewer passengers, more stringent hygiene standards and, potentially, big discounts.

8.

The next year or two might be the perfect time to see the world’s most popular tourist attractions without the usual crowds.

9.

When possible, people are going to save up for one longer trip instead of taking several short trips.

10.

There are sure to be some surprisingly cheap hotels, tours and package deals available.

11.

Free cancellation and date changes are going to become standard when booking flights and hotels.

12.

Expect a serious increase in airport security and safety measures, including requiring proof that you have already had COVID-19 or on-site testing for those who haven’t.

Don’t worry, travel isn’t dead. There have been countless disasters over the years that have impacted people’s desire and ability to travel and the industry always bounces back. Just don’t expect it to look the same as when you left it.
