Please Note

Registration Opens

Thursday, March 12th, at 9:00am

Refund Policy

• A refund request that is received ten (10) days prior to the start of course will receive a 100% refund. No reason shall be required.

• A refund request received within 10 days of the course starting or once the course has commenced, and no more than 20% of the course is complete will receive a 50% refund.

• After 20% of any course has been completed no refund shall be issued.

• A 100% refund will be issued if the program is cancelled by the Recreation & Community Services Department.

• A pro-rated refund will be issued under the following circumstances;

- Medical reasons, a medical certificate will be required.

- Program class cancellations, where classes cannot be made up.

KidSportTM

What is it?

KidSport is a national children’s charity dedicated to helping kids aged 5–18 overcome financial barriers so they can participate in community sport programs. The goal: for ALL kids to play and have fun!

How Does It Work?

• Individual grants of up to $750 per calendar year are available.

How Can YOU Help?

Support Martensville KidSport by:

In 2025, Martensville KidSport received over 40 applications, totaling more than $20,000 in support for our local kids. Each year, applications continue to grow.

Jumpstart

What is it?

Jumpstart helps kids in need participate in organized recreational activities while also offering assistance with equipment costs. This national program helps children learn new skills, build confidence, and boost self-esteem.

Intercommunity Development Group

This regional funding group includes representatives from Martensville, Warman, Osler, Dalmeny, and Langham. Our purpose is to support children who wish to participate in arts, culture, drama, or recreation programs not covered by KidSport or Jumpstart.

Sask. Lotteries Community Grant

Our purpose is to provide financial support to local, non-profit, and volunteer-based organizations delivering sport, culture, or recreation programming.

• Eligible projects must take place between April 1st and March 31st of the following year.

• Applications deadline is February 28th each year.

Recreation Membership & Program Accessibility

This program offers discounted rates on recreation memberships and leisure programs for Martensville residents whose household income meets eligibility criteria.

Discounts Offered:

• 50% off yearly memberships at the Martensville Athletic Pavilion (MAP)

• 80% off registration fees for City-offered leisure programs, up to $200 per family member per year

How to Apply & Eligibility:

• Applications are available at City Hall and the MAP

• Applicants must provide required documents

• All personal information will remain strictly confidential

Books & Babies

The FREE program focuses on developing early literacy skills through movement, poems/rhymes, songs and a story and provides time after the program to play and socialize. It is a great way to meet other caregivers and babies in the community and develop a support network. This is a registered program for caregivers & babies up to 1 year of age. There are Tuesday or Wednesday program sessions. Program starts at 10:30am. Registration is required to attend the program. Call the Martensville Library 306-956-7311.

Play & Learn with Mobile Early Learning

Mobile Early Learning will be at the Martensville Library with their mobile indoor play program. This FREE drop-in program helps you connect with your child through play and participation in fun activities that help prepare your child for school. The program is designed for ages 1-6, but all ages and abilities are welcome to attend. Drop-in on select dates.

Sportball T-ball/Soccer for Toddlers

THIS IS AN INDOOR/OUTDOOR PARENTED CLASS. Children attend this program with ONE parent or guardian and our trained and certified coaches introduce toddlers and their grown-ups to the fundamental skills of soccer and t-ball. Our coaches will bring all the necessary equipment for each class. However, children are encouraged to have a ball glove for the T-ball classes.

Storytime

Join us at the library for stories and songs at our Pre-School Story Time. The FREE drop-in program features 3-4 stories, songs and a craft. The program is best suited to ages 3 to 5, with their caregivers, but all ages are welcome to attend.

Toddler Time

Let the little ones play! This open gym time is packed with fun equipment for toddlers to explore while caregivers engage in interactive play. Don’t forget your socks or indoor shoes—snacks in the lobby only, please!

Toddler Time Frenzy

Back by popular demand! This monthly indoor event at the MAP is full of fun for toddlers—bouncy castles, ride-on toys, and more! Just $5 per child. There are juice boxes and grab-and-go snack available for the kids as well! Join us on the first Thursday of the month (October – May) and let the frenzy begin!

Wiggles

& Giggles

The FREE program focuses on songs and motion to improve fine motor skills, in addition to short books that help young kids learn and grow. There is play and socialization time following the program. Recommended for kids 1 to 3 yrs olds and their caregivers.

PUDDLE JUMPERS PRESCHOOL

Puddle Jumpers Preschool is a private preschool that offers a caring learning program with a focus in early childhood education. Our inclusive, play based program focuses on selfregulation, phonics and early literacy skills. In our classroom, students with learning differences, including autism and ADHD are supported with patience, understanding and teaching practices that help them shine.

What You Will Notice; A Calm, predictable environment that helps children feel safe; Visual supports, routines, and gentle guidance; Flexible seating and movement brakes to help kids stay comfortable; A focus on strengths, not labels; Open communication so families always feel included and informed. Classes are offered to 3 & 4 years olds Sept-May, located in the Valley Manor School.

Archery

Try archery in a fun and safe environment! This beginner class teaches proper stance, aiming, and shooting technique, along with range safety and basic rules. No experience needed. Equipment provided. Perfect for anyone looking to learn a new and exciting skill. This program can be adaptive to fit all needs and abilities.

Art Classes - Intermediate

Let your creativity level up! This engaging, hands-on intermediate art class builds on foundational skills in drawing, charcoal, pastels, and painting. Students will refine techniques, experiment with more complex concepts, and create polished finished pieces in each medium. With individualized instruction and creative challenges, artists are encouraged to develop their personal style and grow with confidence.

Art Classes – Painting

Ready to splash some color onto your creativity? Once you’ve got the basics down in the Beginner Art Class, it’s time to dive into painting! We’ll spend 4 weeks playing with watercolor - learning to blend, layer, and let the paint flow - then switch it up for 4 weeks of bold, colorful fun with acrylics on both paper and canvas.

Bring your favorite photos or objects from home for inspiration or pick from our class collection. Come ready to experiment, get a little messy, and discover the joy of painting your world in color!

Art Workshops – Acrylic

Choose one or both of these great mini workshops. The instructor will provide all materials and you will go home with a finished project. The Acrylic project will be a landscape painting with light reflections on water.

Art Workshop - Watercolor

Learn to paint with watercolor using a combination of wet-on-wet and dry brushing techniques. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll create a beautiful mountain scene while exploring the fluid and expressive nature of watercolors. All supplies are included.

Ball Hockey

No skates? No problem! Ball Hockey is fast-paced and fun for all skill levels. Kids will learn passing, shooting, stick-handling, and teamwork through drills, activities, and game play. Great for ice hockey players and beginners alike. Helmet with cage and gloves are required.

Community Art Night

Crafty Kids

Have a child that likes to create art and do crafts. Check out this free craft program for kids aged 8+ at the library. Each session kids will make a different craft project. All supplies and instruction will be provided. Registration is required for each different date and craft project. Call the Martensville Library at 306-956-7311 to register.

Disc Golf

Discover the fun of disc golf! This beginner-friendly class teaches basic throwing skills, rules, and gameplay through fun drills and simple games. No experience needed — just bring comfortable clothes, running shoes, and a positive attitude. Equipment provided. Perfect for all beginners!

Family Night Out (Drop In)

Burn off energy and spend quality time together! Choose from basketball, dodgeball, badminton, soccer, pickleball, and more in this open gym setting for all ages. It’s active fun for the whole family! Cash only at the door.

Gymnastics - Marvelous Monarchs

Ready to flip, twist, and soar? These artistic gymnastics class is perfect for everyone whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up your skills!

We’ll practice floor moves like rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and all sorts of fun variations. Then we’ll add leaps, turns, and jumps, combining them into a choreographed routine that’s all about movement, balance, and confidence. Following the CanGym program from GymSask, this class is all about having fun, staying active, and discovering just how marvelous you can be!

Sportball T-Ball/Soccer for Big Kids

THIS IS AN INDOOR/OUTDOOR COACH & CHILD PROGRAM. Children attend this program on their own and parents are asked to stay and observe from a safe distance. This provides children with an opportunity for independent learning and autonomy among other social and developmental benefits. Our trained and certified coaches introduce pre-school and elementary children to the fundamental skills of soccer and t-ball. Our coaches will bring all the necessary equipment for each class. However, children are encouraged to have a ball glove for the T-ball classes.

Tennis

Art has the remarkable ability to bring people together, foster connections, and create a sense of belonging. Let’s build our community through a series of community art and social nights at the Martensville Library. Each session will focus on a different type of art project. The programs are free of charge and supplies and instructions will be provided. Registration is required for each different program. For ages 13+. Join our Learn to Play Tennis Program to learn the fundamentals of tennis. This introductory session will cover rallying, volleying and serving. The program is led by a certified instructor and will also cover the rules and etiquette of the sport. All equipment is provided, but please wear athletic clothing/shoes and bring a water bottle.

Get certified with this blended program combining online learning with in-person, hands-on training. Focus on real-life application and skill development while completing the theory at your own pace online.

Floor Hockey (Drop In)

Learn to Play Pickleball

New to pickleball? This workshop covers the basics of this fast growing sport! Learn rules, strokes, and strategies. Equipment provided. Intermediate sessions also available for those who play regularly and want to take their game to the next level!

Line Dancing

Line dancing is a fun, social activity that keeps you moving while improving posture, balance, coordination, and memory. Dancers follow a choreographed sequence of steps; no partner needed; and enjoy music from all genres like country, pop, Latin, swing, and more!

We offer several levels to match your experience: New Beginner – No experience needed. Learn foundational steps like grapevines, jazz boxes, shuffles, and simple turns. Dances are synchronized, simple routines performed in rows with basic steps like walking, shuffling, and turning.

High Beginner – For dancers with basic knowledge. Adds more movement variety, turns, and rhythm changes.

Improver – Builds on previous experience with more complex patterns, turns, and syncopation.

Intermediate – For experienced dancers ready for dynamic routines, timing changes, and stylized steps. Whether you’re just getting started or already love to dance, there’s a class for you!

Pickleball (Drop In)

Try one of the fastest-growing sports in Canada! Our recreational games are open to all levels. Equipment available for newcomers, just drop in and play! Cash Only.

Seniors Walking and Pickleball (55+)

Stay active and social with our year-round seniors’ programming! Walk the track, play pickleball or badminton, and enjoy fitness and friendship at your own pace.

Aqua Fitness

Build on your current fitness level in this low-impact, high-reward class! You control the intensity while improving your cardio, strength, flexibility, and coordination—all in the water. No swimming experience needed. Thank you to the Canalta Hotel for providing pool access!

Body Sculpt

Tone and strengthen your entire body in this 60-minute class! Using weights and resistance bands, we’ll focus on building core and full-body strength; at your own pace. A great class to help meet your fitness goals!

Forever in Motion – Seniors Fitness

Stay active and healthy with this gentle, volunteer-led fitness class for older adults. Improve strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance through exercises done seated or standing. Please leave a day between classes if registering for two sessions. Please make sure to wear proper footwear closed-toe shoes that provide support, and have a non-slip sole.

Gentle Yoga

Breathe deeply, move slowly, and stretch gently in this relaxing, beginner-friendly yoga class. Improve flexibility, body awareness, and peace of mind. Mats and props are available if needed.

Yin Yang Yoga

The perfect balance of stillness and movement! Yin poses target deep tissues and flexibility, while Yang brings energy through dynamic sequences and strength-building. A complete mind-body experience. Mats and props available.

We offer a variety of shared-space drop-in programs for all ages and interests! Everyone is welcome to join, and everyone entering the facility must pay the entry fee. Drop-In Programs Include:

After School Drop-In (Ages 6 - 17):

A great way for kids and teens to stay active after school. Ages 8 and under must be with an adult.

Drop-In Basketball:

Flexible, casual time for games or skill-building. Self-regulated by participants.

Drop-In Volleyball:

Two nets available for games or practice. Self-regulated play for all skill levels.

Open Gym / Drop-In Sports:

Use the space for practice in sports like basketball, futsal, volleyball, pickleball, badminton, and more. (Pickleball and badminton nets provided; volleyball nets will not be set up during this time).

MAP Equipment Orientation

Learn to use MAP equipment safely and effectively, with exercise and nutrition tips to help you get results.

Seniors Walking & Pickleball (55+):

A social and active environment to enjoy the track, fitness area, or pickleball.

Toddler Time (Ages 0 - 5):

Open play with toddler-friendly equipment. Parents/caregivers participate. Socks or indoor shoes required.

Toddler Time Frenzy:

Fitness Area & Walking Track

Stay active year-round at the MAP with access to our fully equipped fitness area and indoor walking track!

Fitness Area Includes:

• Cardio Equipment: 3 treadmills, 3 ellipticals, 1 stair climber, 6 bikes (spin, upright & recumbent)

• Strength Equipment: Cable cross machine, ab machine, leg curl, leg extension, pec fly, leg press, chest press, and free weights

Walking Track:

Perfect for all fitness levels! Walk, jog, or run indoors on our cushioned three-lane track, ideal during any season. Age Policy:

• Children under 12 are not permitted in the fitness area.

• Youth ages 12-14 must be supervised by an adult

GlowSkate - March 8th

Take advantage of one of the last public skating days of the season. On March 8th from 1:00pm - 2:30pm, join us for Glow Skating! Strap on the skates, dress in bright neon colors, and head down to the Sports Center. This glow party will have dimmed lighting, glow sticks, and music by DJ Randy! Admission is $5/person or $10/family. Cash only.

Community Information & Volunteer Appreciation Night - April 15th

Kinsmen Park

With over 100 acres of green space located in the heart of the City of Martensville, Kinsmen Park is Martensville’s destination park. From sport activities to casual leisure enjoyment, Kinsmen Park is a great meeting place for family and friends. Amenities include a three kilometer lit pathway system that connects directly to the City pathway system, 18 hole disc golf course, 2 outdoor fitness pods with 11 pieces of equipment, park benches, picnic shelter, toboggan hill, 3 tennis/ Pickleball courts, full size outdoor basketball court, playground, community garden, and gazebo.

Bench Dedication & Tree Planting Programs

The Bench Dedication and Tree Planting programs were implemented for the purpose of providing benches and trees along the community walking paths, parks and designated boulevards. These benches and trees may be purchased through sponsorship, advertising, memorial or for a commemorative event or a person. Kinsmen Park also features the Kyle Syrenne Skatepark, a Pump Track, and the Martensville Slo-Pitch diamonds. It is connected to the Martensville Athletic Pavilion, Mocon Baseball Fields, North Ridge Community Centre, multi-purpose sports fields, the Martensville Aquatic Centre, and three additional ball diamonds.

Recreation & Community Services

Cemetery

The site is located east of Martensville at the south-east corner of Township Road 384 and Range Road 3052. The cemetery includes 296 casket lots, 282 cremation lots, half of which can accommodate two cremated remains. It also includes a columbaria section where remains can be stored. Any inquires regarding the cemetery may call 306-931-2166. Lions Park

Lions Park is located at 416 6th Avenue South and is a popular park for family gatherings, with plenty to offer for young and old. The park features a Spray Park with 17 different spray features and a concrete basin. The Spray Park opens the first weekend in June and runs until the Tuesday after the September long weekend. Hours of operation are 10:00am-8:00pm. Another feature of Lions Park is a gazebo. The gazebo provides shelter from the weather elements and an area to host family outings or special events. Plenty of green space is also available for a variety of games.

The Lions Park Playground includes rubber surfacing and a variety of equipment, including accessible swings. The park also includes a Playtop Street iOval. The iOval is an interactive rubberized play area programmed with a variety of games designed to challenge as well as enhance coordination and collaborative play.

Pathways/Walking Trails

Martensville features over 10km of lit, paved pathways that connect our parks, schools, and neighborhoods, stretching from the south to the north of the city. Crews will be out clearing the pathways so you can stay active during the winter months!

Outdoor Pickleball & Tennis Courts

The City of Martensville has three outdoor tennis courts located in Kinsmen Park and five outdoor pickleball courts at the outdoor rink located at the Sports Centre. Pickleball Nets will be set up Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am - 3:00pm May - September weather pending.

Off-Leash Dog Park

Located on 10th Ave S, this is Martensville’s only designated off-leash area. Enjoy open space and treed pathways year-round. Residents can access the parking lot by vehicle via the alley off 8th Street South and by foot using the pedestrian bridge off the paths behind Glenview.

New Horizons Seniors

Local Service Groups

The New Horizons Senior Center invites anyone 55 years of age and older to inquire about becoming a member. Membership is only $50 per person per year which entitles you to attend functions at the center as well as outings that are paid for either in full or in part by the Center. We host potluck suppers Monday evenings starting at 6pm. Following supper some people will stay and play cards or board games. We also have a pool table and a shuffleboard table that can be used. On the final Monday of each month is our birthday supper celebrating the birthdays of all member who had a birthday that month. We invite everyone to come for coffee on Wednesday mornings at 10 am. You do not have to be a member to attend coffee which will give potential members a chance to meet us and ask questions about our group. We host Kaiser and Cribbage tournaments throughout the year that have become quite popular, these also are open to the public.

The hall is available for private rentals. Rental inquiries may be directed to Lovina Bischler at 306-222-3343 or Roger Strunk at 306-221-2771. We have full time renters, The Lutheran Early Learning Center daycare operate out of our hall throughout the week on schooldays from 7:00am till 9:00am and then 3:00pm till 6:00pm.

We do have use of the hall during school hours 9:00am till 3:00pm and weekends. The hall has a new furnace and air conditioning installed last year to add to your comfort. We also have an electrostatic cleaner for sanitizing the hall along and an AED defibrillator on site.

Some activities we do away from the center are; live dinner theater in Saskatoon and Barn Playhouse. We have taken the Wheatland Express Train excursion from Wakaw and Cudworth. We have gone bowling to Hepburn. We have gone swimming to the Watrous spa. We have taken the Prairie Lily River Boat cruse. We also enjoy the occasional trip to the Dakota Dunes casino by bus. We also have in house entertainment throughout the year. Live music occasionally following our potluck suppers. We have had a stand up comedian perform for us as well as a Magician. We have hosted a very popular New Years Eve supper and dance with live music and a liquor license so we could enjoy a drink to ring in the new year. Bingo has been very popular since we started a few years ago. We host bingo every second Thursday at 7:00pm at the center.

We have gone high tech and can be found on Face book @ Martensville New Horizons Seniors. We also advertise all events on Martensville and Area Community News.

Our year begins September 1st and runs through the winter ending in June the following spring with a catered BBQ. We do not operate during the months of July and August.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. AA meets every Thursday at 8:00pm at the Heritage Centre located at 415 6th Ave S.

Martensville Kinettes Club

The Martensville and District Kinettes Club is a group of women who help serve and support the community’s greatest needs.

We raise money for the community through many different events and projects. We concentrate on fellowship and fun and plan many social outings and activities as we enjoy spending time together. Our club meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm at the Martensville Arena in the Kinsmen Room upstairs. We are always looking for new members and will accept anyone who is from the community and surrounding areas. Martensville Lions Club

Serving the community since 1979. Come and spend an hour with us to learn more about our programs. Regular winter meetings take place on the third Tuesday of the month from November through to May at 6:00pm at the Martensville Library on Main St.

On the last Sunday in May of every year we are host to the annual Pet Value Walk for Dog Guides. Come out, have some fun and support the Lions Dog Guide program on the last Sunday in May. We also have an ongoing recycling program in support of the Dog Guide program, just give a call at 306-290-6766 to have your recyclables picked up.

Martensville Soccer 2026 Spring Season

Just around the corner is spring soccer registration in Martensville!

Registration will open early January and close end of February. Registration will be available online for the following age groups:

All Under 5 and 7 groups will be located inside the Martensville Recreation Centre on the Turf.

The Under 9 to Under 18 will be hybrid, home games inside the MRC on the turf and away games outdoors. Season will start late April 2026.

Valley United Soccer Club (VUSC)

Sask Five Baseball

The Sask Five Baseball Association gives the youth in our communities the opportunity to participate and excel in the sport of baseball based out of the city of Martensville. With age divisions for players ages 5 to 18 and all skill ranges for approximately 450 players.

Our association originally included players from Martensville, Warman, Osler, Dalmeny, Langham. As of 2023, SaskFive includes players from a total of 26 communities within Sask Sports Zone 5 boundaries.

Maddogs Football offers programs in conjunction with our partners at SMF for youth from Kindergarten to Grade 9 from flag to tackle. Martensville Thunder Basketball

The Martensville Basketball Association is in full swing and are looking forward to a great season ahead. Our Thunder Basketball Program gives athletes the opportunity to train, compete, and grow as players and teammates in a positive, supportive environment. Through structured practices, skill development sessions, and team activities, players build confidence, teamwork, and a strong foundation in the game of basketball.

The season includes competitive weekend tournaments from April through June, giving athletes the opportunity to put their hard work into action.

Thunder Basketball is about more than just the game. It’s about community, connection, and creating lasting memories.

This club volleyball program is geared toward girls and boys from ages 12yrs to 18yrs that live in Warman, Martensville and surrounding area. The club volleyball season typically runs from November to May and includes practices, tournaments, and provincials. Practices are held in Warman and Martensville. Saskatchewan Volleyball Association also provides further information on all volleyball programs in the province. CVVC is actively recruiting coaches for the 2026-2027 season for all divisions. Martensville Minor Hockey Association

The 2025/2026 Minor hockey season has begun with over 450 players registered ranging in ages from 5 - 17. This season we have over 30 teams representing our hockey association.

This past year we saw our male and female athletes continue to enjoy a lot of success with several players making their debuts in the WHL,SJHL, PJHL, USPHL, SMAAAHL and go on to begin college hockey opportunities! MMHA works hard to make hockey inclusive for all and to ensure that every player who wants to play this great game is given that opportunity.

The Martensville Minor Hockey Association is a group of volunteers dedicated to the growth and development of young athletes through the game of hockey. We want to thank all of the coaches, managers and community partners as well as Sask Lotteries for their support. Because of these great people and organizations our program is successful and each player is given an opportunity to play the sport they love! MCRP - Martensville Community Recreation Project

The MCRP is very proud of our contribution to our City’s new Martensville Community Recreation Centre, which opened in October 2024. The MCRP was formed in 2014 with it’s sole purpose being to bring a new recreation facility to our area. Our group is ecstatic seeing the doors opened and this amazing facility serving Martensville and area!!!

The MCRP sends thanks to the many donors, volunteers and supporters who worked with us on this fantastic facility! But, even with this great accomplishment, our group still intends to work together to better our community and with that in mind we will continue to host the following events in 2026:

Martensville Pickleball Club

The Martensville Senior Pickleball Club, as its name implies, is a group of seniors who come together to play pickleball for fun and recreation. The games provide an opportunity for light exercise with a high importance placed on friendships and socializing.

Club members currently play during Senior Drop-In times at the Martensville Athletic Pavilion, from 12:15pm3:15pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

In the spring and summer months, we enjoy outdoor play at the new outdoor courts next to the Martensville Sport Centre.

Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis and can be played as doubles or singles. We welcome players of all skill levels. Periodic training clinics are offered for both beginners and more experienced players.

RockyRidge Model RailRoad Club

Our club is small, but we are an enthusiastic and growing group interested in model railroading. We are especially motivated in sharing our hobby with our local community and other communities across the province. We take our layout to major shows all over Saskatchewan and Alberta. We like meeting and interacting with families and especially enjoy seeing the children’s reactions. The kids like to share in the fun as we let them blow the train’s horn, run the trains for a moment and otherwise enjoy model railroading as much as we do. GGC is a safe, accepting environment with diverse and exciting programs and activities that offers girls the chance to learn, grow and discover through age-appropriate programming. From sports, camping and science to eco-activities, crafting, travel and community projects, Guiding’s girl centred programming has something for everyone. Guiding is bold, fun, energetic and gives girls the tools and resources they need to achieve greatness.

Our year runs from September until April for Sparks (Grades K & 1), Embers (Grades 2&3) Guides (Grades 4, 5 & 6), Pathfinders (Grades 7, 8 & 9) and Rangers (10, 11 & 12).

574 Dakota Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Cadets

574 Dakota Squadron meets every Thursday (Sept – Jun) at the North Ridge Centre in Martensville from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.

Servicing the Martensville, Warman, Dalmeny, and Osler areas, we are a youth program for those between the ages of 12 and 19 years of age.

Air Cadets participate in a variety of activities such as survival weekends, sports weekends, range, gliding/power flying and much more. Martensville High School is the home of the Royals and a place where we believe all students can be self-motivated, empathetic, confident, critical, and reflective learners who are prepared for their next steps in life. In the fall of 2015, students and staff at Martensville High School moved their operations into their state-of-the-art new building. The spacious facility is full of natural light and numerous unique learning spaces. The school has at its center a 300-seat performing arts theatre as well as a music room. In addition, the school is directly connected to the incredible Martensville Athletic Pavilion. The original part of Martensville High School received a thorough renovation that included significant upgrades to the Practical and Applied Arts areas. Martensville High School has a population just over 700 students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers a rich spectrum of academic and vocational classes including apprenticeship program credits. Students at MHS can participate in all major SHSAA sports programs and a variety of extracurricular clubs.

Lake Vista Public School

Lake Vista Public School is accepting applications from February 2nd 2026, until May 1st 2026, for our 20262027 Pre-Kindergarten Program. This program is available to selected 3 and 4 year olds in our community. Applications are available on the PSSD website: https://register.spiritsd.ca/. Pre-Kindergarten runs from 8:55am - 11:30am every weekday.

Lake Vista Public School is now accepting registrations for our 2026-2027 Kindergarten Classes. If you have a child that will turn five by December 31st, 2026, and you reside in Martensville, please register online at https://register.spiritsd.ca/. Kindergarten runs full days, 8:55am - 3:10pm either Monday/Wednesdays with some Fridays or Tuesday/Thursdays with some Fridays. Kindergarten Orientation will be scheduled for the Spring of 2026.

Martensville KidsportTM - Give the Gift of Sport

There are many children who cannot participate in sports due to financial barriers. Donations can be made online at https://kidsportcanada.ca/saskatchewan/. Make sure to choose Warman and Area KidsportTM as the chapter name to ensure it stays in our community. You can also drop off a cheque at the Martensville Athletic Pavilion. If you are writing a cheque, please make it payable to Warman, Martensville, and Area KidsportTM. Put a smile on a child’s face and allow them to see the benefits of participating in sport.

Martensville Village Youth Connection - Possibilities Youth Connection

PYC is a free drop-in program for youth that focuses on developing skills that help youth navigate life, and improve mental health. The program material is overseen by a Registered Social Worker, and delivered by qualified professional counsellors. The first hour is dedicated to teaching about subjects such as self-esteem, triggers, selfharm, addiction, depression, anxiety, consent, boundaries, & healthy relationships. We dedicate time to practice our new skills, and engage in planned activities. At PYC the youth have opportunities to gain volunteer experience. Martensville Food Pantry

Local Service Groups

The Martensville Food Pantry is a registered charity made up of a group of volunteers who help families and individuals obtain food stability in Martensville and area. We also collaborate with the SPCA in distributing pet food.

We are located in the Civic Centre (across from 7-11) and make up hampers every Wednesday for those requests received by Tuesday 6:30pm. Requests can be made every 2 weeks. There are also shelves and fridges in the hallway that have bread products etc. These are accessible during library hours. We greatly appreciate the Martensville Co-op Grocery and Warman Save On Foods for their generous and continuous donations.

We have become incorporated and have been granted charitable status. We can issue tax deductible receipts. We also have a delivery service for seniors and those with a physical challenge /impairment.

Sask Central Victim Services Inc.

Sask Central Victim Services Inc. is a police-based program that provides confidential assistance to victims of crime and other tragedy. Our staff and locally trained volunteers provide support to victims through crisis intervention, court preparation and accompaniment, information, referrals to local helping agencies and much more. We also liaise with police, prosecutions and/or the Ministry of Justice to offer Victim Impact Statements, Victim’s Compensation, Victim’s Restitution and much more.
