Private Lessons Private lessons are a way to personalize your lesson to suit the needs of any swimmer. They are a good option if your swimmer has only a few items left to complete a level, needs feedback and correction on certain strokes, or just needs one-on-one time with their instructor to build confidence. Private lessons can be booked as a one-time clinic session or can be used to complete a level. If you are trying to a complete a level, a minimum of five private lessons must be purchased at time of enrollment. The instructor may request additional lessons if they are unable to meet the goals of the swimmer in the time provided.

Pump Track The City of Martensville is very excited about this new facility that opened in the summer of 2021. It is a great facility that is connected directly to the Kyle Syrenne Skatepark. So what is a Pump Track? • A pumptrack is a course containing hills and berms that are ridden by “pumping” with your arms and legs to propel yourself forward rather then pedaling or pushing. • It allows for good riding conditions rain or shine, and is good for all wheels as well! • If it has wheels, it can be enjoyed on this track. – Bikes, Scooters, Boards, Blades, Wheelchairs, Striders • It promotes a healthy, active outdoor lifestyle. • It allows for opportunity to engage with others who would not typically engage in a teamsport setting. • It teaches balance and coordination which are useful tools for any sport. • They are fun!
Lions Park Lions Park is located at 416 6th Avenue South and is a popular park for family gatherings, with plenty to offer for young and old. This park features a Spray Park with 17 different spray features and concrete basin. The Spray Park opens the first weekend in June and runs until the Tuesday after the September long weekend. Hours of operation are 10:00am-8:00pm. Another feature of Lions Park is the newly constructed gazebo. The gazebo provides that needed shelter and area to host family outings or special events. Plenty of green space is also available for a variety of games.

Martensville’s New Multipurpose Recreation Facility The City of Martensville, partnering with the Martensville Community Recreation Project (MCRP), is set to deliver a phased facility to meet the ever-growing demand for more ice and indoor field time. Where will it be? The new facility will be located on the west side of Martensville and anchor the newest subdivision slated for Martensville. Trilogoy Ranch will be a 680 acre residential and commercial development slated to be builit out over the next 25 years, be home to an additional 10,000 residents.
Community-Driven: $2.8M Raised + $3M Land Value • In addition to the City’s $6.5M commitment, the MCRP and a group of community volunteers have raised $2.8M to date for this facility! A HUGE thank you to the people who have worked tirelessly towards the new facility - your dedication, your passion and your efforts have driven this project. You make the community stronger and will make this dream a reality. • Land for the facility is also being provided in the Trilogy Ranch subdivision and valued at over $3 million. • We are hopeful the Provincial and Federal Governments will help us ‘Lace ‘Em Up’. • Stay tuned over the next number of months for some exciting updates!

Why does Martensville need a new rink? “It would be awesome. There would be so much more ice time!! We could host our own tournaments again! And we wouldn’t have to travel out of town as much for practices. Maybe other teams would come to our rink too…they could also host tournaments and practice at our nice new rink.” - Blake Carlson, Baseball & Hockey Athlete “More time to play the game I love with my friends.” - Ryland McConnell, Hockey Athlete
“ To me, a new rink would mean being able to play ringette in my home town instead of driving to further rinks. And if we had more ice here, then maybe more people would want to play ringette. I’d love to see my favorite sport grow in my community.” - Piper Landry, Ringette Athlete

Their work is driven by passion, integrity, inclusivity, and a sense of humour. They are always pursuing new ideas, partnerships, and adventures. MCRP - Martensville Community Recreation Project When the MCRP formed in 2015, we didn’t know where we’d be, 7 years later. We didn’t know a location for the new facility. We didn’t know how much could be fundraised. What we did know was that we had community support for this project and for our incredible team over the past 7 years. You – the donors, the volunteers, the businesses, the community – have shown up again and again for the MCRP and ultimately for the children and youth who need and who will use this facility. We at the MCRP take this small opportunity to give a shoutout to YOU. Words alone cannot express what your support has meant to us and to getting this project to where it’s at today. Our community is stronger because of you. THANK YOU for all your support, your hard work and the fun you’ve brought to us and our initiatives over the past 7 years. We are so grateful.
