GLEN IRIS & ASHBURTON MARKET REVIEW WITH DANIEL WHEELER Market conditions across Glen Iris and Ashburton were steady throughout Q3. Buyers remained measured and value-focused, yet there was strong demand for homes that were well-located, well-presented and realistically priced. Properties that stood out for the right reasons continued to achieve outstanding results, a sign the market still rewards scarcity and quality. The gap between standard stock and exceptional homes widened this quarter. Buyers became more selective overall, but quality architecture, land, location and lifestyle appeal still generated real competition when the right property came to market. Auction remained an important method of sale where genuine competition existed, and a property carried the qualities to create urgency. Looking ahead, sentiment is turning more optimistic for the final quarter, with growing buyer and vendor comfort around current pricing, suggesting a more even and confident market to close out the year, provided interest rates hold steady.
