A portfolio of my final project in architecture school. Alcatraz Aquatic Center is an aquarium and aquatic research academy located on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay. The project creates a new way for visitors to interact with the topography, historical context, and surrounding aquatic life. The project is a series of distinct spaces, linked together to create a larger sequence that moves visitors from the existing ferry dock up to the historic prison.
