GDOT Statewide Roundabouts - 20 Roundabout TMC's
Marr Traffic acted as a sub-consultant for Kimley Horn to collect traffic count data for several GDOT roundabout projects. The project included the collection of Turn Movement Count data initially at 20 roundabouts throughout Georgia. Marr Traffic data collection cameras were installed to record video footage which was then analyzed to provide class turn movement counts broken down into 15 minute intervals with hourly totals and peak hour data.
In addition Marr also collected Drone aerial footage with a particular focus on safety and operational challenges. The high quality aerial view obtained via drones allowed Marr Traffic to utilize AI software to analyze the video. This type of analysis allows Marr to count & track vehicles movements, identify near misses, and potential accidents.

City of College Station - 20 TMC's for 12 hours
Marr Traffic was contracted by The City of College Station to collect traffic data throughout the city. The project included 12 hour turn movement counts at twenty intersections from 7am to 7pm. Marr Traffic data collection cameras were installed to record all video footage on the same day, which was then analyzed to provide classified turn movement counts broken down into 15minute intervals with hourly totals and peak hour data. All data was provided on deadline, and on budget.
Nashville Traffic Calming Project

On behalf of Nashville Dept. of Transportation, Marr Traffic acted as a sub-consultant for Kimley Horn to collect traffic data throughout the city of Nashville. The project included the collection of 24-hour volume and classification counts at
approximately 350 locations. Marr Traffic installed tube counters at every location to gather the necessary data, utilizing their vast resources of equipment and staff, and extensive experience of large-scale projects to ensure that data was delivered on time and on budget. Marr Traffic Data Collection has the experience and ability to undertake all types and sizes of video surveillance traffic data collection in the Southeast.
