Maroondah Festival save the date!

The City of Maroondah’s biggest public event of the year, Maroondah Festival, returns for 2022 with an exciting mix of new and traditional entertainment.

The festival will be held on Sunday 6 November at the temporary location of Town Park and Fred Geale Oval, Norton Road, Croydon. The Maroondah Festival is an outdoor cultural and community celebration which has delighted festival-goers for more than 30 years. It’s the perfect event to meet up with your friends and family and enjoy the atmosphere. A highlight of this year’s event will be a Freedom of Entry to the City activity by the 22nd Engineer Regiment. And of course, we’ll have all the usual activities and popular amusements, including our Community & Health Wellbeing Expo, food and artisan market stalls, main stage entertainment, plus so much more. Application forms are now being accepted from groups or businesses wanting to be part of the festival, whether holding a display, providing interactive activities, workshops and demonstrations, performances, or selling food and drink. Taking part in the Maroondah Festival is a great way to build awareness in the local community of what your organisation does. It can also provide a great fundraising opportunity. Stallholders, business and community groups eager to be part of the 2022 Maroondah Festival are invited to lodge an application form via Council’s website, or call us on 1300 88 22 33.
