It’s me, Suba Bleu! As a full-time employee of Mark Miller Subaru, I get to travel Utah and spread Subaru Love to those who need it most. This past June, for example, I led a team of Mark Miller Subaru employees who delivered blankets and handwritten “letters of hope” to individuals receiving cancer treatment at local hospitals. Nothing is more profound than the feeling you get from helping others.

Arriving in Summer 2018, the three-row Ascent is designed for families on the go. For the latest all-new Subaru vehicle, engineers thought big. Stansbury Park is owned and operated by the Salt Lake Astronomical Society and during their monthly stargazing parties, amateur astronomers will set up their telescopes to let viewers check out the moon, planets and other wonders in the sky. If you’re looking for a quick stargazing trip, just head about 5 miles up Emigration Canyon, and set up along one of the many pull-outs along the road. You’ll get some light pollution from the valley, but this is a great location to watch for meteors and identify constellations. Bonneville Salt Flats
Natural Bridges National Monument Imagine sitting out on a warm, moonless, summer night looking through a massive natural bridge where it’s possible to see up to 15,000 stars throughout the sky. That is a lot of Stars! Lucky for us, Natural Bridges National Monument has made protecting its dark sky a priority. On March 6th, 2007, Natural Bridges National Monument became the first International Dark Sky Park certified by the International Dark-Sky Association. The goal of a Dark Sky Park is to preserve the skies and educate the public about light pollution and how they can make a difference. Cedar Breaks Come and enjoy the stunning river of light formed by the milky way at Cedar Breaks, Astronomy Programs (aka “Star Parties”) throughout the summer. Cedar Breaks is the first in Southwestern Utah and 16th of the 417 National Park Service units to be designated as an International Dark Sky Park. And In 2016 readers of USA Today voted Cedar Breaks as the "Best National Park Night Experience." Arches National Park If you are like most people and live in or near a city, you may be surprised by how dark a moonless night at the Arches National Park can be. As you drive away from the glow of urban settlement, a wealth of stars becomes available for the naked eye to see. On a clear night, you can see hundreds of stars from just about anywhere in the park.
However, if you would like our recommendation, try stargazing from these points: • Balanced Rock Picnic Area • The Windows • Garden of Eden Viewpoint • Panorama Point Bryce Canyon National Park Bryce Canyon National Park has some of the most astonishing and captivating views of the night sky. The park is so dark that on a moonless night you can see up to 5,000 stars with your naked eye and maybe 200,000 with standard binoculars! With claims from National Parks services “that Venus and Jupiter are bright enough to make you cast a shadow!", there is no time to waste! Visit Bryce Canyon today!
Just drive West on I-80, and you’ll enter the deserted, 30,000 acres of the Bonneville Salt Flats. The Salt Flats offers a break from city light pollution and with its low horizons, you’ll have a phenomenal view of the wide open skies. Lake Powell When you visit Lake Powell late July to mid-August, you’ll find yourself in the perfect spot to catch some of the best meteor showers in Utah. Away from major light pollution from any busy cities, It doesn’t get any better than looking up into the beautiful star-filled night sky from a boat in the middle of a serene lake.
Antelope Island When you stargaze on Antelope Island you’ll feel bad for your friends in Salt Lake City missing out. While they are going to sleep on a skimpy diet of 200 stars, you’re overindulging on the 1,500 stars visible from the west side of the island. Antelope island is the ninth park in the state of Utah to be recognized as a International Dark Sky Park by the International Dark Sky Park Associations. As the biggest Island in the Great Salt Lake, Antelope Island has a Lot of Natural Beauty to offer both In the skies and below.
