Diversus Health is a community mental health center focused on providing mental health services across El Paso, Park, and Teller Counties. Our four core service areas are designed to work either independently or in conjunction with each other to help individuals and families lead a fuller, healthier life.
We have been providing services for over 145 years and soundly believe in the notion that quality mental and behavioral healthcare services are a key part of a thriving community. As an organization, we have developed our strategic priorities around five areas - guided by the philosophy that supporting our clients and employees through quality care, unique experiences, and sound business practices will enable Diversus Health to continue to operate as a strong community partner.

SERVICE & PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
In the past year, we have defined and simplified our four core service offerings: Counseling, Psychiatry, Addiction, and Crisis Services. Each of these in turn now embrace a wide range of individual programs and services. As we plan for the future, we will build on this foundation to match our strengths with community needs. We will also continue to streamline our operations to improve client access.
QUALITY OUTCOMES & VALUES
COVID-19 has proven to be a major disruptor across all communities and industries. Diversus Health, too, was immediately confronted with new challenges in safely providing services and meeting clients’ needs. In response, we dramatically expanded telehealth services. Today, we continue to expand access to safe and accessible care in a new hybrid model that meets the needs of staff and clients alike. And looking ahead to the future, we are implementing new programs that will help us better measure and improve the quality and outcomes of the care we provide.
BRANDING & IDENTITY
Over the past year, Diversus Health has been developing a new brand that allows us to more clearly define our corporate identity and the services we offer. Our new website, DiversusHealth.org, provides a simpler online experience in which clients and community partners can learn more about our services and
organization. Through new marketing ideas and messages, we are able to educate our communities on the services Diversus Health provides.
As we move forward, we will continue to look for ways we can efficiently and creatively communicate with our clients and community partners, ultimately looking to better the experience they have with Diversus Health.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
As an organization, we are focused on being strong financial stewards of the resources we have been entrusted with in order to maximize our effectiveness as a community mental health center. Our fiscally conservative approach to managing financial resources allows us to make decisions around growth, development, and invest in our clients and staff.
OUR PEOPLE
The services we provide would not be possible without the people who provide them. Our Over the past year, we have simplified processes across our system, ultimately making everyone’s job simpler so they can focus on taking care of our clients. As we move forward, we will look to create and sustain a rewarding environment for all staff that acknowledges the important work they do.
