Diversus Health will host this exciting event, with the proceeds benefitting three local mental health charities: National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) – Colorado Springs, Springs Recovery Connection, and Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention. Their programs and support groups are peer-led and always free to the community. Springs Recovery Connection is a nonprofit organization made up of community based citizens in long term recovery from substance use disorder, who educate, mentor, and advocate for recovery and long term recovery solutions. Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention is a nonprofit suicide prevention organization. Suicide – a leading cause of death in the state of Colorado – is a stark reality that we can work together to change. PPSPP provides free suicide resources and support services to increase awareness, provide education, and connect people to needed resources.
