April–July 2023

16 April

Thank God for Youthworks’ position of global thought leadership in ministry to youth and children. Pray for CEO Craig Roberts as he meets with church leaders from around the world, seeking to share Youthworks’ training and discipleship resources with them.

23 April

Pray that God will grant Christian Outdoor Education an influx of applicants for the June trainee intake. May God increase the numbers of the team and that many more will be transformed by world-class Christian Outdoor Education.

30 April

Thank God for Youthworks Council who meet this week. Pray they will be equal to all the governance and oversight responsibilities before them, and that they would be a blessing to Craig and his team in their leadership roles.

7 May

As we launch the annual Mid-Year Appeal, we pray that God would incline the hearts of many people to prayerfully and financial support Youthworks.

Please pray for potential students attending the Youthworks College Open Day on Tuesday May 9. Pray that God will enable them and their churches with the resources to partner with College for effective children’s and youth ministry.

Please pray for the Theology Think Tank evening with Ed Drew and the wisdom he will share for effective children’s ministry.

14 May

Please pray for Youthworks College staff and first year students as they go away on Tour to study ‘Personal Formation for Christian Ministry’. Pray for Spirit-filled enlightenment and continued transformation into the image of Christ Jesus.

21 May

Pray for the CEP team as they continue to work to produce resources that will support those in ministry to children, youth and families.

28 May

Thank God for the skilled and faithful leaders of Youthworks’ ministries who are going away for 2 days to refine their strategic plans. May they be led by God into all truth and wisdom as they plan the year ahead.

4 June

Pray for SRE and RI teachers as they prepare for the end of term. Pray they will be enthused to organise their curriculum resources for next Semester and many children will come to fully grasp the good news of the Bible.

11 June

Please pray for the Conference Centres team as they undertake training and professional development this week. May they bond closely as a team and learn new skills to serve our guests well.

18 June

Please pray for Christians attending the Centre for Christian Education info night on June 19, that there will be many Christians entering the teaching profession who want to be equipped with gospel-expertise for the school classroom.

25 June

We thank God for all our faithful supporters who have prayed and donated to our Mid-Year Appeal, and for the impact this will have in seeing young lives oriented to Christ.

2 July

Praise God for a term full of COE Ministry. Praise God for the many winter programs that have been running and that demand will continue to increase for programs in the cooler months.

9 July

Semester 2 for Year 13 has begun. Pray for students as they continue in their studies, growing their skills in Christian leadership and serving in their church’s ministries.
