Orienting young people for life in Christ Youthworks is the largest trainer and equipper of Christian Special Religious Education (SRE) teachers in Australia.

Youthworks is passionate about helping every church provide effective SRE classes in their local schools through the training, equipping and accreditation of SRE teachers.

The generous support of the Guardians of Faith community enables Youthworks to offer support, training and advice to churches and their SRE teachers at little or no cost.

Thanks to the support of the Guardians of Faith community, NSW government school students can explore the Bible for themselves and SRE teachers are being enabled to effectively nurture the growth of young people in their journey of faith.

SRE Teacher, Sarah, believes SRE is a great opportunity for children to explore God’s word for themselves. She says: “SRE is very important for young people ... It may be their only access to exploring the Good News and opening up God’s Word.”
