A Georgie Lingham hattrick boosted Loughborough Lightning to a 68-5 victory against Wasps.

The visitors put 12 trys past the bottom-placed Wasps, with Lingham joined on the try sheet by Bo Westcombe-Evans, Megan Davey, Rachel Malcolm, Carys Williams-Morris, Bryony Field, Grace Clifford and Sally Williams.
Lingham started the scoring in the third minute, running it in after Lightning stole a lineout. But Wasps responded quickly, with Molly Saunders getting on the end of a welltimed kick through by Hannah Edwards to add their only points of the game.
Lightning soon overpowered the home side, with Lingham getting two more in quick

REPLACEMENTS: Crake, Clark, Williams, Pinnock, Hillier succession, before Davey and Malcom both powered over to seal a bonus point before the break. A yellow card for Wasps’ lock Fiona Cooper after 38 minutes gave Malcolm space to grab a brace just before the half time whistle blew.
Lightning continued to dominate, with Williams-Morris dotting it down on 42 minutes to get the ball rolling in the second half. Field then found herself on the end of a driving maul to add another five points, before WestcombeEvans went over twice, and Clifford and Williams added two more in quick succession.
A yellow card for Williams saw Lightning finish the game a player down, but despite an attempt at posts, Wasps could not add to their tally.
