Lightning are currently in week 5 of pre-season, working towards the start of the National League on 21st August. We have had some great new additions to the squad, both players and staff, all pulling together to make sure we start the season in the form we finished at the end of last season. We are all obviously very inspired by the success of the Lionnesses, winning the Euros last weekend. I really hope such a significant moment in womens sport helps to raise the profile of womens football, including of course our own.
