At Hethersett Academy, we are aware of the needs of each individual student and recognise that we have a responsibility to support every pupil to achieve their potential.

At Hethersett Academy we are committed to ensuring that learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) are fully included in the life of the school and are able to thrive academically and socially.

If your child has an identified special educational need or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), the first step is to talk to our Key Stage 3 SENCO.

They can give you an overview of the kinds of reasonable adjustments and provisions for learners with SEND at Hethersett Academy to ensure that they can access the curriculum and enrichment opportunities.
