SEND Support

Most students join us at the start of Year 7, however we do accept students mid-year or into other year groups when we have capacity to do so. Applying for a place at East Point Academy is straightforward and as with all secondary schools in the county, admissions are organised through Suffolk County Council.

The process tends to begin in the autumn of the year prior to when the student wishes to start, with applications closing at the end of October. Suffolk County Council will then allocate places with offers sent out at the beginning of March. Should more students apply than we have places, spaces will be allocated according to our admissions policy - you can find this at eastpointacademy.org/admissions
