7 Experiences Before Year 7

Here at Charles Darwin Primary we strongly believe in the value of experiences, which is why we set up our ‘7 Experiences Before Year 7’.

Each year has an identified experience which they may not otherwise come across in their everyday lives. This helps to build the cultural capital of all our pupils to ensure our pupils are well-rounded individuals.

Throughout the school year pupils will also take part in a number of curriculum-based awareness days such as World Book Day, Children’s Mental Health Day, European Languages Week, and Remembrance Day (to name a few), enabling them to explore key events.
