LIVE ACTION ROLEPLAYING GAMES Live Action Roleplaying Games (LARPs) take everything you love about your favorite RPG — interacting with a fictional world through a heroic character, collaborative storytelling, chance resolution of events — and bring it to life through immersive, live-action play! In a LARP, you physically portray your character, generally by moving around in real space, and usually with more direct player-to-player interaction than in a traditional tabletop RPG. LARPers often (but not always) enhance their roleplaying with costumes and props. LARP events are a great way to experience immersive roleplaying and improvisational storytelling — even if you don’t have any previous experience.
