Let us be impressed that "setting our minds on the things above" is not having our head in the clouds. It is not spending our time in a day dream, rather a changed mind is to result in a changed life. Also remember that God is demanding that people who were addicted to such things (3:7) cease their practice. God does not accept the excuse that one cannot change.
