Ratcliffe College is a co-educational day and boarding school, for 3-18 year olds. Founded in 1847 and surrounded by 200 acres of beautiful grounds situated in Leicestershire. Ratcliffe is a Catholic school but welcomes all religions and is inclusive of all with a real sense of community, offering exceptional teaching and outstanding pastoral care with small class sizes.

Ratcliffe is very proud of the A-level results achieved in 2022 with 100% pass rate. 97% of students achieved A* – C and 100% of students achieved A/A* in Mathematics.

This maintains our position in the top 1% nationally for ‘value-added’.

Ratcliffe offers a wide range of GCSE and A-level subjects. We passionately believe in the importance of a well-rounded education, while developing new skills and having fun along the way! The CoCurricular Programme revolves around our Big Six – Chaplaincy, Sport, Music, Drama, Combined Cadet Force and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

We are 2 hours from Heathrow and have no Exeat Days. We have circa 100 Boarders and a long history of Boarders from Nigeria and Kenya.

Situated in Rendcomb village, the school spans 230 acres, including the Deer Park which is home to a herd of 75 fallow deer.
