INTRODUCTION This compilation of success truths has been put together through the desperation I have seen in the human being to be a creature of perpetual Failure.

Mankind is born under a mantel of failure and desperation, the only way of this curse to his finite mind is left up to fate or luck.

I have looked at the lives of many of the most successful people in the world and have found that they all have many of the same success traits in common.

I hope these truths will inspire you to take action and make the necessary changes in your life to live Healthy Wealthy and Successfully.

Persistence "Great works are performed, not by strength ,but by perseverance" Samuel Johnson Year after year I see meaningful people go through the same New Year's resolution ritual.

This year I will lose X amount of weight, I am going to exercise more, I am going to stop smoking, drinking etc these are the wellmeaning wishes that ring through the halls of intention but seem to disappear like mist in the presence of the morning sun.

Good intentions, heartfelt hopes and wishes uttered through the felling of desperation or the frivolous gesturing of the desperate person hoping that some miracle will take place and change their lives for the better is the plight of the majority of the people I know.

A few years ago I met two middle aged fellows John and Sam who were friends from childhood

and seem to shear the same likes and ambitions in life, as we started talking I picked up on the frustration that was evident in the voice and actions of one of them.

John a successful veterinarian who's time was his own had it all, health, wealth cars, houses, money and a wonderful family wife and two kinds. John was in wonderful physical shape and had no addictive vises.

Sam on the other hand was a hard working frustrated bank clerk, he was a good husband and father but was saddled with a hefty mortgage and constantly had frustrations with lack of money and material things. Sam was overweight and smoked heavily, always walking in the shadow of his best friend John.

At first glance one would say "Well, John obviously was born with a silver spoon in his mouth or John had a lucky break, fate shore it's light of favor on John" and "Sam was a victim of circumstances", but on the contrary John and Sam grew up in the same neighborhood went to

the same school and their Fathers strangely enough were both mechanics.

John and Sam faced the same challenges in life as kids, the two of them would often lie on their backs on the grass gazing into the blue sky watching the clouds slowly drift by at their favorite fishing pond day dreaming about what they would like to achieve in life, places they would like to go and visit and who they would like to date and marry.

John toke hold of this dream to be healthy and wealth with both hand and said no matter what I will be a veterinarian, he faced a myriad of mental, physical and financial obstacles many of them we will look at later in this book. One thing that clearly separated John from Sam was his persistence to his intention of becoming a Vet, when Sam and his friends were out clubbing and going out, John just kept hitting the books studying day after day week after week month after month year after year, Oh, I could see and hear the passion in John as he told me of his time in university, the long hour of study the

grueling field research. I asked him "how did you manage to get through it" he simply shrugged his shoulders and with a confident look said " I just keep at it" Sam stood next to John with a sheepish look on his face. Shrugged his shoulders and said" I never had the passion and will power that John had" That's when it dawned on me it's not just the passion or will power that gets the job done it's the persistence to that passion, it's the action to the will power ,the stick to it, the keep at it no matter what decision that leads one to their goals.

"Wow a great story" you might say but" I just don't have what John has".

I am here to tell you, YES you do. You do have the direction, passion and the persistence needed to see your life change and see your desire come to pass. We do it every day persistently without been aware of it, we continue to smoke , drink, eat unhealthy foods, stay up late and do things that you don't really have control of.

YES you do have the "Keep At It" ability. it is just pointed in the wrong direction. Persistence is not something you have to conger up, or need to find in the deep recesses of your sub conscious mind Persistence is what we all use in our everyday life, for example every time you are encouraged to start losing weight by concerned friends and family, what do we do, we first find an excuse why it is not convenient at that specific time to start watching what we eat and we persistently stick to that way of thinking, we "Keep at it" we "Stick to it" every day. Some of us Keep at it when it come to procrastination, we persist on putting this off. I tell people to procrastinate to procrastinate and Stick to it.

Decide that whatever you do in life whatever you take on, you will persist, keep at it, see it through until you succeed Struggle to improve. In every effort improve the dream achieve it.

Every time you play that piece on the piano, play it better than you played it before.

Every time you sit down to work on your computer, make up your mind that you are going to be more efficient than you have ever been and keep at it.

Make your brain work. It will sweat, but make it work. It will develop until you become a wonder to those around you.

Be self- reliant Be punctual Be diligent Think through on every problem Take control of your life Persevere, Stick to it, Keep at it and you will win the crown.

Lesson in action.

Write down your intention to change using the words I will do........... I will change........ , keep it before you at all time, that will help you stay committed to your decision.

Tell someone you trust and respect who will hold you reasonable to your decision.

Assess your progress weekly on paper if necessary and make changes as needed. Be a hard task master the rewards are worth is.

You Can Do It It's not what the world sees on the outside that defines you, it's who you are in the inside that counts.

It's the hidden potential, the undeveloped resources in your mind, in your spirit, the sub conscious mind that counts.

Most of us know we have a hidden talent, some unique ability hidden deep in our inward man, that if we could find develop and share it with the world will make us great and change the world in some way.

It could be the developing of the writer, the thinker, the teacher, the inventor the scientist, the leader, the business owner that is hidden deep in you that is important and must come out.

It is safe to say that everyone of you reading this has one or more of these abilities.

It may be an untrained voice, an untrained musical ability, an untrained artistic talent that may be hidden under that careless, thoughtless exterior.

Take time to search your inner desires , your untapped abilities. Indulge in the what if I could do or be what I think about in my heart, bring it up to the point of reality and make it worthwhile, do what it takes to give it commercial value.

Always remember that everything that goes towards making you a success is inside of you.

John found his hidden passion and ability, circumstances and situations were not in his favor but he honed his skills in Math, Science and Biology to the point that he made himself scholastically valuable to receive a full scholarship to go to Vet school.

Find that which is in you, that thing that will make opportunities that will make money that creates new things, that thing that will take what other miss and make it a success, it's in you.

Find it, make it work.

Most of you already know what it is, start working on it. become a hard task master drive yourself daily to achieve .No one cares if you succeed but they will laugh when you fail.

There is something inside you that can take these talents abilities and dreams and make them reality.

It is in there That ability is there Only you can do it, only you can train it, others might ignite the passion but you can quench that fire of passion by not taking action.

Go with the flow of inspiration and suggestion that comes.

Drive yourself

Put yourself on a mental diet not of idle dreams nor idle fancies, but on a mental diet of hard work and study.

It would be different if the ability was in someone else and you were trying to get them to take action.

No it's all in you and you are going to be mentally awake and diligent to that which is inside you.

Don't be afraid of what others might think or say.

Do you think Albert Einstein did.

Do you think Alexander Graham Bell did.

Do you think Michael Angelo did.

Do you think Henry Ford did.

Surround yourself with like minded dreamers that see the dream in you and help you take action.

Friends that accept you as you are and don't push you to achieve are no friend at all.

Lesson in action.

Find what's in you that which excites you to action. most times it's right under your noses, if not the Bible says "seek and you will find" search your heart you will find that treasure in you.

Write down what you come up with, that which excites you. Pursue it. Hidden talents and abilities, If you can't' find anything ask your friends they will tell you what you constantly talk about and do.

Put yourself under a harsh task master ( Yourself) put yourself under training in those this you like to do in your leisure time eg; singing writing, drawing, pottery. Make it of value and people will want it.

Train Yourself What you do for yourself, the time you spend on your interest and talents is far more important than what anyone in the world can do for you.

I have heard so many people say I want to be a world renound pianist, an Olympic athlete or I wont to sing like Pavarotti.

Passionate people with all the intentions. Honest well meaning people, with the dream of fame.

My question to them is do you have what it take to train yourself. do you have the self- discipline to train yourself to such a level that people will pay for your time.

Self - discipline is the most important feature in the life of any and all those that have reached the highest level of success.

John had to reach down deep to disciple himself to study when there was so much better things to do with his friends. Long hours researching sitting before the computer doing assignments, were Sam on the other hand spent his time with friends.

Unless you put yourself under a strict regimen of mental discipline, you will never develop the forces in you that the world is seeking.

A person that cannot control his temper would never achieve the success that belongs to him.

Take full control of your temper so that no matter that happens, what is said or what is done , your temper will be under absolute control.

Take full control of your tongue, watch what you say so that your words will not hurt anyone or destroy anyone's dreams.

Train yourself in Body, Soul and Spirit

Self disciple is one of the hardest things to accomplish, yet it yields the greatest rewords.

It is easy to become a frailer all you need to do is this sit around idly and dream.

The lazy person who hopes for circumstances and good fortune to show up is a frailer It's the person who wills and keeps on willing who wins, Don't float around waiting for luck to come your way. Don't wait for opportunities, Go and make your own opportunities.

Take control of your life, it is through self disciple that you gain the mastery over life itself leading you to victory.

A wild horse is beautiful to watch galloping through the fields, but it is of no commercial value until it is hardest to direct its power. So is your wild temper and uncontrolled tongue of no earthly value until you harness there power and direct it in a positive way through self discipline and control.

Put your whole self into life , study, drive yourself. Always remember that your worst enemy is inside of you. No circumstance, no person or combination of persons can conquer you as long you do not destroy your own prospects yourself.

Don't ever be satisfied with anything you do , always seek to improve yourself.

Discipline, train, harness yourself and watch the power flow.

Lesson in action.

Whatever you interest is determine to take at least 30 minutes every day to read and study in line of your interest. Be diligent be a hard task master on yourself and within 18 months you will have developed as an authority in that subject.

What is your worth How do you see yourself, When you look at yourself, physically, spiritually and emotionally are you a person in whom you could trust or confide in are you that special person that you would seek out with those virtues that intensely attract you, why, because you feel that, that special person lives live on a higher spiritual and emotional plain.

The person who's word is his bond.

The person who holds honesty above all.

The person who follows his convictions The person who does the right thing because it is morally right The person who dose the ethical thing and does not follow the crowd.

The person who is punctual.

The person that is trust worth.

The person who is kind.

The person who is charitable.

The person that is peaceful The person who has integrity Yes all theses virtues are within everyone of us, but we have let the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches blind us from living in the light on our Grace.

Everyone of us has every trait listed about resident in our spirits, its only when our eyes are opened to a new and higher level of life that we can start walking in them.

What is your worth to yourself and to the world.

Is your word good.

Be brutally honest with yourself, interrogate your emotions until you discover who you really are, this will not be a pleasant exercise. Nine times out of ten you will discover that you are following the leading of the Dark side the slave driver of the unregenerated man.

Your worth to yourself and to the world, depends entirely on your honesty and your willingness to change.

Put your mind under the task master of change, take the whip of persistence and work out the changes that have to be made .

The world today is in desperate need of men and women of integrity. Men and Women that are not afraid to stand up for what is right and live out their beliefs and convictions.

Aren't you tired of seeing spineless preaches , spineless politicians, spineless teaches, spineless parents that are as weak as water.

Decide today that you will be a part of that rear breed of people who will stand up and change the world through your dedication to the intrinsic values and morals that man was created with.

Make yourself honest.

Make yourself punctual Don't let one day go buy in which you have not improved yourself .

Take an inventory again and again to see how you have grown and developed.

Lesson in action Make a list of your values and judge whether they are more valuable to your and to the world today than they were a year ago. If you find you need work on a few of them, take a strong stand and develop integrity and honesty. You will recognize the change in you in how the world responds to you.
