When initiating a construction project, a variety of requirements related to water service may need to be undertaken. These requirements are established and administered by Marin Water, a special water district serving central and southern Marin County. Start (or Stop) Water Service / Establish Customer Account
Once your water meter is installed, you can request to start your water service through our easy online form. You may also stop service through this same process. marinwater.org/start-stop-service
Upsized Water Meter Discount
Customers whose water meter sizes were increased to accommodate indoor fire sprinklers or low water pressure, may qualify for lower fixed fees on their water bill. marinwater.org/Discounts
