FIJI ISLANDS
CRUISING WITH 2 SHIPS

Discover the joy of small ship cruising and take a journey through paradise, cruising the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands of Fiji with Blue Lagoon Cruises. These idyllic islands lie off the western coast of Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu, and have some of the most striking scenery in Fiji. Feel the warmth of the Fijian people and be greeted with open arms and a bright Bula smile wherever you go.
THE BLUE LAGOON CRUISES EXPERIENCE
With over 75 years of cruising experience in the Fijian islands, we know exactly where to take you for unforgettable moments. Life onboard is relaxed and intimate, led by our warm, all-Fijian crew who take pride in personally connecting with every guest. This isn’t just about seeing the islands – it’s about truly experiencing them. Each day brings new, included excursions and unique activities designed to immerse you in the culture, beauty, and spirit of Fiji. These are the moments that become lifelong memories.
OUR SHIPS
In 2026, Blue Lagoon Cruises will proudly operate two ships – the MV. Fiji Princess and the MV. Yasawa Princess II. Both are catamarans with a shallow draft, allowing us to reach secluded bays and remote islands that larger ships simply can’t access. We can even tie off to a coconut tree, letting you swim straight to shore!
With just 32 and 22 cabins respectively (accommodating a maximum of 64 and 44 guests), and a crew-to-guest ratio of 1:3, our cruises offer a truly personalised experience. You only need to unpack once – then relax as your floating hotel takes you from one idyllic location to the next.
Each day offers something new: visit traditional Fijian villages, swim in crystal-clear lagoons, and soak in tropical vistas straight out of a movie. It’s the Fiji you’ve dreamed of – and so much more.

WHY CHOOSE TO CRUISE WITH US?
SMALL SHIP CRUISING
Discover the benefits of small ship cruising. Our ships have a maximum of 64 or 44 guests (32 or 22 cabins), offering a more intimate and personalised experience. Our attentive Fijian crew quickly learn your name and preferences, and it’s not uncommon for guests to form lasting friendships – both with fellow travellers and crew alike. For most of the year, cruises are adults-only (16 years and over, excluding school holiday periods), creating a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere onboard.
AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE
Experience Fiji through the eyes of those who call it home. Our 100% Fijian crew know these islands like the back of their hands and use their deep local knowledge to enrich your journey. During village visits in the Yasawa Islands, they’ll help you connect with the people, culture, and way of life unique to this region. Optional cultural activities – from traditional cooking lessons and kava ceremonies to coconut husking and local singing – make this experience truly authentic, unforgettable, and unlike any other.
PLENTY OF TIME ON SHORE
For those who enjoy an active holiday, there’s no shortage of daily activities to keep you entertained – from beach visits, volleyball, and scenic hikes to village tours, island church services, and incredible snorkelling. You can even enjoy once-in-a-lifetime encounters like swimming with reef sharks or manta rays (May to October). Whether you prefer diving into the action or simply finding the perfect spot to relax with a good book, there’s something for everyone onboard.
PRIVATE BEACH EXPERIENCE
We’re fortunate to have exclusive access to our own private beach on the iconic Blue Lagoon – a highlight for guests on our 4- and 7-night itineraries. In this stunning location, we tie off to a coconut tree, giving you the chance to leap off the ship and swim ashore. Spend your day hiking to breathtaking island viewpoints, playing beach volleyball with our crew, trying out water sports, or simply unwinding on the sand with a cocktail from our beach bar. As the sun sets, indulge in a traditional Fijian lovo feast, followed by a lively meke performance by local villagers – an unforgettable night under the stars.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
As an environmentally conscious company, Blue Lagoon Cruises is proud to be completely single-use plastic-free. Every guest receives a complimentary Blue Lagoon branded stainless steel drink bottle to use throughout the journey, with refill stations conveniently located around the ship. It’s a simple way to stay hydrated – and make a difference.

GETTING READY
Blue Lagoon Cruises welcomes guests of all ages and fitness levels. However, you will need to be able to navigate staircases on board. Boarding and disembarking from our tender boats also requires a reasonable degree of mobility, but our friendly crew will always adapt shore landings to suit your needs. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with simply staying on board, relaxing, and soaking up the breathtaking scenery.
Whether you’re exploring ashore or enjoying life on deck, our team is dedicated to ensuring your cruise is truly unforgettable. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the dress code is casual—even at dinner. We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and to leave the dinner jackets and high heels at home.
If you choose to visit local villages, we kindly ask that men wear a sulu (provided in your cabin) and women dress modestly with shoulders and knees covered, in keeping with Fijian cultural customs. Hats should also be removed when meeting a village chief. Prior to your cruise, you’ll be asked to download the Blue Lagoon Cruises App. This allows you to complete your prearrival documentation and will also serve as your main source of communication during the cruise, including updates on activity timings and other important information.
FAMILY
CRUISING
DONATING TO VINAKA FIJI
While travelling with Blue Lagoon Cruises, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Yasawa Island villagers by supporting the Yasawa Trust Foundation – Vinaka Fiji.
Vinaka Fiji is partly funded through grants and sponsorships, but it relies heavily on generous donations from individuals, organisations, and groups. These contributions help fund vital projects, such as water catchment systems, sanitation facilities, and sustainability initiatives, by providing the materials and resources needed to make them possible.
Blue Lagoon Cruises is a proud sponsor of Vinaka Fiji and the incredible work it does in the Yasawa Islands. We invite guests to join us in supporting this mission. At the end of your cruise, a donation will be automatically added to your account—FJD $100 per cabin for 3- & 4-night cruises, and FJD $150 per cabin for 7-night cruises. You are welcome to adjust the amount or opt out if you prefer.
Your support helps ensure a brighter, healthier future for the people of the Yasawa Islands.
A Blue Lagoon Cruise is a great option for a family holiday or a multi-generational trip. Having everyone in the same place means you get to be together for meal times/evenings but can go off and do activities that suit each age group during the day.
For the majority of the year, the minimum age for guests onboard is 16 years old. During our Family Cruise Departures (dates noted below), children aged 5 to 15 inclusive are welcomed onboard. Children 4 years and under are not permitted to travel with Blue Lagoon Cruises. Child rates are based on 2 children sharing a cabin or one child and one adult sharing (child paying child fare and adult paying adult fare). One child in their own cabin is charged the full adult single rate.
