WELCOME! When we were first asked to close our doors back in March 2020, we optimisticly hoped that it would only last a matter of weeks and that we’d back to normal operations by the Autumn. Like the rest of the country we quickly realised that wouldn’t be the case. Almost a year and a half on, and only now are we able to start the process of learning how the new world looks and building back stronger now that mandatory restrictions have lifted.

We are excited to be welcoming you back into our building and our first priority is to make sure everybody feels welcome and safe. Some of our protocols will remain in place for the immediate future including enhanced cleaning. Our auditorium undergoes regular sanitisation with a specialist fogger. The chemicals used remain active for 28 days though we apply them roughly every 21 days.

When you arrive you will notice that our staff will still be wearing masks and visors and that screens are still in place at the Box Office and Café till point. We do strongly advise that all customers who are able to, continue to wear masks when inside the building. This helps to keep other customers safe and our staff safe.

As we look ahead to the Autumn we will be offering more live performances some of which have had to be rescheduled as many as 4 times through the pandemic.

But as we make our way through what has been an unsettled summer, it’s great to be able to present some wonderful films, including the hotly anticipated film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway musical In the Heights, and a starstuded emotional roller-coaster, Off the Rails. Classical music fans will also be thrilled to see a cinema exclusive from the King of Waltz, André Rieu. Whatever you’re into, we look forward to seeing you soon.
