The Drago Family

The Drago family has owned and operated multiple restaurants in Los Angeles. Their family includes four brothers, one of whom is Giacomino Drago, who is the owner of Il Pastaio. He grew up watching his family make everything they ate. They made their cheese, olive oil, pasta, and even wine. His love of cooking started when he was 11 years old. He started working in his family restaurant at the age of 16. He loved experimenting with food and different flavors and later moved on to creating his recipes and spreading their Sicilian family traditions throughout Los Angeles.
