The objective of this thesis is to present the visionary of five proposals suggesting changes to the Greek city in 2024, which arouse from the impact of the pandemic on our daily life. These five schemes set the scene in futuristic Peristeri starring Miren-XY.
The plot concerns a new variant of Covid 19, which disrupts the normal levels of happiness hormones in the sick person and as a result, affects the person’s mental health. To deal with the virus, meditation becomes a dominant prevention measure for both older and younger ages.
The narration unfolds through five excerpts from the life of Miren in Peristeri. First she enters the Teleworking Field from where she works every day. Then she visits the Spir(itu)al Park and the Mediground Area, which are the new places of meditation. After that we see her observing the Oxygen Producing Gardens through her window. Finally, after getting infected she is transferred to the Unit of Rapid Recovery.
