Lord Almighty,

Thank you for bringing us to another school year. You know the desires of my heart. Please guide my steps, words and actions to align with you and what you want for each child's life to set them up for success. Be with me in the morning when I rise and when I lay down as I walk alongside my family. Thank you for trusting me with your children whom you love more than me. Please cover them in your love and protection as they learn, engage with new content and love others around them. I know you have them in the palm of their hand. Please prepare and guard their hearts during this new school year. Thank you for covering this season and year with your grace. I trust you go before me and my children as we navigate the highs and lows, obstacles and celebrations and any milestone in between. Help me to appreciate and celebrate throughout the year. Amen.
