What does Form's essence and beauty entail? What three-dimensional relationships do form, space, and function have? What principles of tectonics and the structure of Form may be discovered through modelling experiments and practical application? How may basic design and concept-framing be combined? phases of development in the design/build process tasks involving 1:1 installations Course Organization The final project and a series of two or three functional application exercises form the core of this course's structure. These products may be a chair, a floor lamp, a display case, or an artwork. installation of a musical booth and/or children's play. Each primary exercise acts as a training benchmark for five groups of fundamental ideas and straightforward shapes that come together in a three-dimensional application. These essential activities are designed to gauge students' originality in the selection of Compositions.

No prerequisites Fundamental ideas and principles for visualising, reasoning, and designing three-dimensional basic shapes. Using straightforward threedimensional modelling activities in manual formats, presentation, communication, and fundamental design abilities are developed. In order to find solutions, practical and aesthetically pleasing design objectives are balanced. There will be lectures, slide shows, supervised design workshops, and design reviews. It is not necessary to have prior digital or modelling expertise.

Classwork 1 Reflection: Using reusable clay for the first time was an exciting activity. The model i worked on had to be neat and well scaled with one another as per the grading criteria. The model also had to follow the axis rule.

Grading Feedback: I needed better compositions as they were poor. However, overall good models and followed the axis rule.

SELF ASSESSMENT: This was my first experience creating a model from cans which was a little worrying.

However, i liked my model as a first assignment submission.

GRADING FEEDBACK: The overall composition is not bad, but when you look at it from different perspectives, you will find the side view planar, which is against the whole idea of the composition. The silver strand around the model was an unnecessary addition, however, the painting is very professional.

Reflection: Using clay, i had to make four models that presented curvilinear forms. Thankfully, this workshop was very fun since i discovered i can make neat curvilinear forms.

Grading Feedback: Overall great compositions and very neat, but needed more variety as i overused the standing pin compositions.

SELF ASSESSMENT: In this assignment, we were required to credit ate a rectilinear composition by the works of Guda Koster to express ourselves.

ASSIGNMENT "HERE I AM"

INSPIRATIONAL BOX

GRADING FEEDBACK: The box was very dominant in the picture so it would have been better to show more of the body. The duck was a nice addition, since it was contrasting the background.

However, the duck was also complimenting the box, so it doesn't look pleasing.

Reflection: In this workshop we had to compose between rectilinear and curvilinear models, using five different shapes, which are centralized, linear, clustered, radian, and grid.It was very interesting to turn real life concepts into compositions.

SELF ASSESSMENT: This assignment was extremely difficult, since we chose a semi complex building, Cathedral Of Brasilia. My group and i focused so much on the concept of tying the balloons instead of achieving 16 the concept of the building itself.

GRADING FEEDBACK: The composition had very little similarity to the building. The only achievable thing was the color.However, Amazing crafting with the balloons was achieved.
