Events & Retreat Centre

The rural Retreat & Event Centre is conceived as a harmonious convergence of people, celebrations, and the natural environment. Its architectural design embodies a symbiotic relationship between built form and nature, creating an inviting and inclusive space that facilitates interactions and connections.

The project uses repurposed timber and includes a report on how to maintain self-sufficiency and off the grid living. Energy is harvested through solar panels and rain water is collected through the feature canopy. Furthermore, the building uses underground heating, keeping the centre warm over the winter.

At the heart of the Retreat & Event Centre lies a central gathering space that functions as the focal point of the entire design. This space is meticulously crafted to accommodate a variety of functions, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. Its carefully considered layout and flexible arrangement ensure that it can adapt to different event sizes and purposes

The design of the Retreat & Event Centre prioritizes versatility, ensuring that it can seamlessly transition between various event types and scales. Movable partitions, adaptable furnishings, and integrated audio-visual systems allow the central space to be transformed based on the specific requirements of each event.
