Design Concept ONE WITH NATURE OUR OBJECTIVES

When you think about design it’s not just about intricate embellishments or exterior physique. Design is much more than that: it considers the reason behind the form and the experience of being exposed to it. These qualities help us realize how we interact with the world and use it for our comfort. With that in mind, the designers wanted a structure that is functional, aesthetic, and nature advocative.

Design Process Work with nature The site plan has a north direction was established and with that we used the northeast and southwest winds as our reference for the orientation of the windows. The sun rises at the east and sets at the west. With that in mind we placed the kitchen where the warmth of the morning sun could be felt while the client is preparing his breakfast and the living room where the beauty of the sunset can be appreciated to ease the client’s troubled mind. The work space is in between the two as a kind of grey area where both sun rays won’t affect the location too much.

The Basics There's a reason for every space The design for the container van has vast glass windows which give strong visual interactions with the outside for the occupant to appreciate the view. The building being near the creek gives the space a sort of tranquility that the designers made sure to capture. The lighting coming from the sun can affect the mood even more and a stronger atmosphere of nature is present. The outside of the vans have a space where all occupants can see each other for a friendly chat and some lunch. To further enjoy their environment, the designers also placed a balcony.
