Long ago this land was hillsleveled, lifted away to expand the city.

This row house left its shadow behind.
We are holding on tightly to Chinatown row houses that are still here.

Remembering these physical spaces reminds us of the people who have continued to fight against displacement, working to preserve and strengthen Chinatown’s enduring community.
