> Pedestrian Bridge + Ambulance Passage. Unsupported Span for fluvial passage: 20 m. > Public Program: Baths + Viewpoint + Market and River Walk connection. > Private Program: Operator’s Control Cabin.

> The proposed bridge is located on the Calaberas River, connecting Campana’s and San Fernando’s Delta coasts, (this last-one has been valued as Biosphere Reserve). After having defined a territorial influence area, an urban expansion was planified between Nueva Esperanza city and No. 26 School, along both coasts. > According to a growth hypothesis, established after having analyzed the existing territorial connection structure, the strategic location of the pedestrian bridge was defined, in order to decompress the future pedestrian traffic, currently existing only by ferry rafts. > A 20-meters free pass distance was required, for which it was proposed a cantilever-bridge which allows two opening systems: one of them is a telescopic sliding mechanism, which allows 10 meters free pass distance, for smaller boats; while the other, is a rotating mechanism which allows open other 10 meters, all resulting in 20 meters free distance for heavy cargo ships passage. >The rotating system is based on 4 columns, which support a tubular - circular axis, with a wheels-and-motors system, inspired on the roller coasters operation system. This mechanism is above the historical maximum flooding level and it is gripped to the cantilever-bridge in two points. The cantilever-bridge metallic structure module, it is concentrated in the turning area to generate counterweight and it is expand in the cantilever sector to relieved the wieght. > In addition to its functionality and firmness, this bridge particularly considers the relationship with the landscape, since it will be the “monument” of the rural community. The structural requirements themselves served as triggers for the ludic use of the bridge: when it’s opens, it connectes provisionally with the river-walk; while need for a gantry system ended up on a structure that also allows public banks generation. > The public program required, is organized in a radial way round the bridge, linked to the river-walk and the market, organizing the uses according to their height as a growing spiral, culminating in the viewpoint, located above the operator’s control cabin.

> Puente Peatonal + Paso ambulancia. Luz Libre de paso: 20m. > Porgrama Público: Baños + Mirador + Relación con mercado y caminería. > Programa Privado: Cabina de Control Operador.

> El puente se ubica sobre el Río Calaberas, conectando las márgenes del Delta de Campana y San Fernando, (Reserva de Biósfera). Luego de definir un polígono de acción e influencia, se realizó un ensanche urbano entre la ciudad de Nueva Esperanza y la Escuela nº 26, sobre ambos márgenes. > De acuerdo a una hipótesis de crecimiento y habiendo analizado la estructura de conexión territorial existente se definió la ubicación estratégica del puente peatonal que eventualmente debe permitir el paso de ambulancias, descomprimiendo el tránsito futuro, actualmente existente sólo mediante balsas. > El puente-viga propuesto, requiere una luz libre de 20m, resolviendo 10m, mediante un sistema más rápido para embarcaciones livianas o individuales, que consiste en una plataforma deslizable y 10m, por un sistema giratorio, que permite el paso de embarcaciones pesadas o de carga. > El sistema giratorio se basa en un mínimo de 4 columnas, que sostienen un eje tubular - circular, con un sistema de ruedas y motores, basado en el funcionamiento de las montañas rusas, que se agarra en dos sectores o “zunchos”, al puente-viga. Este mecanismo se encuentra por encima de la cota de recurrencia máxima histórica, para asegurar su mantenimiento. El módulo del puente-viga metálico, basado en la teoría de Fibonacci, se concentra para generar contrapeso en el área de giro y se aliviana en el sector en voladizo. > Este puente, además de su funcionalidad y firmeza, contempla particularmente la relación con el paisaje, ya que será el “monumento”, o espacio público por excelencia de la comunidad rural, debido en parte a su proximidad con el mercado y la costanera pública. Por lo tanto, los propios requerimientos estructurales sirvieron como disparadores para el aprovechamiento lúdico del mismo: cuando se abre, conecta con el paseo costanero provisoriamente; mientras que la necesidad de un sistema de pórtico sirve como estructura para bancos de uso público. > El programa público requerido, se organiza de modo radial alrededor del puente, vinculado a la costanera y el mercado, organizando los usos según su altura a modo de espiral, siendo el punto culmine, el mirador, ubicado sobre la cabina técnica del operador.
