PRADA DISASTER IN TORONTO

A lesson learned...be careful entrusting your fine handbags to a local “trusted” dry cleaner or shoe repair shop.This documents a restoration that resulted following an email from a father in Toronto . His daughter was devastated by the “loss” of her very special oncein-a-lifetime Prada handbag he had purchased for her in Italy . This was the result of taking it to the “best” local handbag expert for minor cleaning .

Dye from the leather of this Prada had run into the white fabric of the bag and turned it into an odd light orange color . Cleaning “combination” (leather & fabric) bags is challenging for even the finest craftsman .
