WHO DID THIS? Trees chopped down on river bank

Mystery surrounds the deliberate chopping down of mature trees on the banks of the Barron River near the John Doyle Bridge over the past few months. The trees have been illegally felled and left to rot, leaving authorities mystified as to why someone would chop them down. – FULL STORY, PAGE 3
