WHAT ARE REMOTE AND SELF-CONTAINED CASES?

remote & self-contained cases.

A self contained case acts like a stand-alone refrigerator that requires no installation. A remote case does not come with condensing unit.Â

INSTALLATION: Self-contained cases need just plugin AC power to function and can be put into use immediately after purchasing. For remote cases, you need to buy the condensing unit separately and it has to be installed by a licensed technician.Â

Marc Refrigeration The condensing unit of selfcontained cases is easy to maintain and wash. On the other hand, for remote cases, more effort is required to clean the condensing unit properly.

Also, self-contained cases are easier to relocate as compared to remote cases.

MAINTENANCE:

HEAT AND NOISE: The condensing unit is smaller in selfcontained cases and therefore, the heat and noise factor are prominent in it. In remote cases, condensing unit is located strategically, which results in less heat and noise. There is less space available on self-contained case and more space is available to display items in the remote case as its condensing unit is located somewhere else.Â
