Resident Awards
Rising Star Award
The Rising Star Award is given to a first-year resident who exhibits early promise in scholarship, leadership, advocacy, and/or clinical care, or whose overall performance is far beyond what is expected for their level of training.
Chief Resident Award
The Chief Resident Award is given to acknowledge the chief resident’s dedication to fellow residents and their commitment to providing extra service during residency training.
Director’s Award
The Director’s Award is presented to a resident for scholastic excellence and dedication to teaching fellow residents the art and practice of Family Medicine.
Dr. Charles Sow Morehouse School of Medicine
The faculty bestows this award upon a resident for meritorious achievement during residency training.
Resident of the Year Award
The Resident of the Year Award recognizes a resident who demonstrates exceptional leadership, clinical achievement, and the potential to further advance the practice of Family Medicine.
