Lower Heath CE Primary School - Robin Class Remembrance Service 2020

Every child in Robin class helped to make our stunning Remembrance stained glass window.

Each child then painted a large poppy provided by the British Legion for our window display.

We are very proud of our window display.

Everyone can see it as they drive around the car park.

Experimenting using tissue paper and paint to create a different texture for the background of the painting.

Creating a piece of artwork to represent the fields where the poppies grew.

After learning and reciting this poem, the year 1 children then all took turns to copy parts neatly to create a beautiful display for the hall. All of the children in Robin class painted a poppy to create a wreath to surround the poem.
