WEEKLY BULLETIN Dear Parents and Carers,
We Are Collecting Aldi Tokens!
Welcome to our first weekly bulleting as part of the Marches Academy Trust. The pupils have all settled in well to the new term and have a great attitude to learning. We will be producing a bulletin to update you on events and activities with the school. From half term these will be uploaded onto our website so I will send out the link once it has been created. Our website hosts a huge amount of information and can be found here www.longlandsprimaryschool.co.uk We have lots of events on this term including our Halloween bingo, Harvest celebration and school photographs. A reminder that our Facebook page is updated regularly – we’d be grateful if you’d complete a review for us via our page to help other parents see how great our school is. I look forward to seeing you all at our up and coming events. Zillah Cope - Headteacher

Pupil Premium The pupil premium is additional funding which is allocated to schools on the basis of the number of students who have been eligible for free school meals (FSM) at any point over the last six years (known as ‘Ever 6 FSM’). The Pupil Premium is aimed at addressing the current underlying inequalities which exist between children from disadvantaged backgrounds and their more affluent peers. The Pupil Premium also provides funding for children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months and the children of service personnel. You are eligible to claim for Pupil Premium if you claim:
Universal credit (provided you have a net income of £7400 or less). Income support. Income-based jobseekers’ allowance. Income-related employment and support allowance.
