EAGLE FUND The Eagle Fund is Maranatha Christian Schools’ yearly giving opportunity that supports our objective to provide the best education for our student body. MCS relies on the generosity of its families and friends to generate additional revenue to fulfill our mission and vision: “Transformed Lives…Transforming the World.” This is truly an exciting time at MCS, as we take steps toward achieving the themes outlined in our Strategic Plan. After prayerful consideration on the most effective use of the Eagle Fund, we have decided to focus our attention on Strategic Theme #5:
“By June, 2017, MCS will have the financial resources required to retain and attract exceptional staff and fund strategic growth.” As part of our strategic direction, we are now concentrating on raising money over the next three years to primarily assist our efforts of retaining and attracting exceptional faculty and staff.
Our teaching faculty and staff are continually dedicated to serving your family by focusing their efforts on your student - fostering an environment where they can thrive spiritually as well as grow in their God-given potential in academics, arts and athletics. Because our current employee salaries are below market rate, the goal is to bridge the salary gap over the next three years, as well as provide additional funds to encourage MCS employees to remain on staff for many years to come. To achieve our goal, MCS will need to raise $500,000 every year for the next three years. Through this, the school can continue to keep its tuition rates low and affordable for all, not relying on significant yearly tuition hikes. In the end, we desire to have the very best teaching faculty and staff at MCS while providing an affordable tuition price!
