Welcome to the 29th International Maritime Hall of Fame Awards

The most significant changes to maritime transportation and logistics over the past two-and-a-half years have been their impact worldwide and the public’s understanding of the importance of these industries. Whether we liked it or not, the supply chain was forced into an assessment of each operational node impacting the day-today movement of goods. Fluidity and resiliency became trade buzzwords and ambitious standards were set to meet public demand. Industry leaders who viewed the public as key stakeholders and not just customers transformed the supply chain to a value chain, including safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability as key components in the movement of goods. These are the leaders we honor tonight. We honor these individuals for their contributions and thank them for their ongoing innovation to develop a new international transportation normal for today and the future.

In 1993, the Board of the Maritime Association of the Port of New York & New Jersey created the International Maritime Hall of Fame to honor those visionaries who, through excellence in their company, organization, or services, best exemplify the qualities of forward thinking that guide our industry now and in the future.
