Thirak Bollywood Dance - youth

Kids’ Dance Fitness Class

Join our dance party! Step up to the plate in our coed Coach Pitch baseball league! This league will keep the fun rolling for 1st & 2nd Graders while continuing to improve baseball fundamentals: catching, fielding, throwing, and hitting. The team’s coach will throw pitches, and a batting tee will be used for players who aren’t quite ready to make contact. Team size is limited to twelve players, with everyone participating! Dirt and bling, it’s a softball thing! Slowpitch softball is an excellent introduction to the sport of softball and fastpitch. Chase the ball! Tot-Soccer helps kids learn to be part of a structured group activity without a parent by their side. Recognizing that this can be challenging for young children, our field-tested, age-specific curriculum fosters confidence and promotes physical development in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. A great introduction to competitive soccer. Skillz and Scrimmages teach advanced skill building such as dribbling, passing, and shooting in a team format, as well as an introduction to goal-tending. Trailblazers Winter Trail Running

Trailblazers’ winter runs are all about getting outside and running in the PNW weather. Learn to run safely in the elements! You don’t have to be fast. It’s not competitive. It’s about your runner(s) getting out there and exercising! Depending on each group’s ability, we will run/jog around 3-5.5 miles.

Please bring a headlamp or flashlight for Wednesday’s evening run starting at Summit Park. Saturday’s class will meet at 11:00am, and will explore different sites! (TBD by instructor) Participating parents or runners over 17 must complete a volunteer application with the City of Maple Valley, and can join the runs if they have a registered participant. The NHL Street Hockey Clinic is a fun and engaging program designed to teach players the fundamentals of street hockey while building teamwork and confidence. The clinic covers essential skills, including:

Sasquatch’s Spring STEAM Lab

Calling all young scientists, engineers, artists, and musicians! This Spring Break, the Bigfoot Adventurer Academy is setting up a secret laboratory at Lake Wilderness Park to discover the science of spring in the Pacific Northwest. In this 5-day mini-camp, campers will become field researchers using the entire park as their STEAM playground. 8v8 Soccer League - Spring

Come play on our team this spring! Teams play on a modified field (85x50 yards) with youth-sized goals. No slide tackling allowed. Teams play with eight players (4 males, three females, and a GK of either gender) on turf fields at Ravensdale Park. Teams receive eight games, with top teams advancing to the playoffs. Player cards or additional memberships are not required.

Women’s Bollywood Dance

Women only in this fun-filled Bollywood Dance class. This class begins with a warm-up that includes basic Bollywood moves, followed by stepby-step choreography set to Bollywood music. The combination of steps participants learn will strengthen their awareness of musical flow, timing, spacing, and precision. The participants will establish a strong foundation in movement while developing confidence, coordination, posture, and grace. Comfortable attire is recommended, and going barefoot works best.

Start your puppy off on the right “paw” with proper first experiences during the important socialization periods of puppyhood.
