Medicine for the world.
2020 Annual Report
A message from our President and CEO, and Board Chairman
2020 Annual Report | 1
Everybody gets sick. Not everybody gets medicine. Since 1954, MAP International has been working to bring health and hope to those suffering from disease and disaster around the world. As we reflect on 2020 – a chaotic and turbulent year in many ways – we are humbled by the abundant faithfulness that God has poured out on MAP. With God's help, MAP reached more than 20 million people in 86 countries, delivering more than $708 million dollars’ worth of essential medicines and health supplies. As you read through this annual report, you will see the highlights of what God has done through MAP this past year. Despite the challenges of a pandemic, MAP reached a record number of people and plans to further that progress in the coming year. You will also see in this report that we are committed to financial transparency and being trustworthy stewards of the resources that are given to us, ensuring that every dollar does the most good for as many people as possible. What the numbers cannot show you are the faces of the people that have been touched by MAP – the stories of children whose lives were saved by antibiotics, expectant mothers who received critical prenatal vitamins and delivered healthy babies, families who felt hope when they received disaster relief supplies after the devastation of a hurricane. None of these stories would have been possible without the faithful and generous support of our donors, partners, staff, and volunteers. Collaboration is at the core of what we do, and our MAP family has worked tirelessly to deliver critical medicines and health supplies to the world’s most vulnerable people in the darkest of circumstances. With God’s continued favor and faithfulness, we will continue to touch, and save, even more lives in 2021. With heartfelt thanks,
Steve Stirling President & CEO

Focus on Distribution Center in Brunswick
The team members who work in MAP International’s global distribution center in Brunswick, GA, are the unsung heroes of the organization this past year. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the U.S., the distribution center staff at MAP made the sacrifices necessary to keep operations running smoothly so vital medicines and health supplies would continue to reach the people that needed them. The distribution center is a 40,000 square foot facility that acts as a Foreign Trade Zone with U.S. Customs, which allows MAP to purchase and import products without duties. All donations of products (GIK) and all MAP-purchased products are inventoried, stored, and shipped from this facility. Using a highly efficient process, MAP was able to serve over 20 million people in 2020, delivering life-saving medicines and much-needed health supplies to people in nearly 90 countries who would not have had access otherwise. When COVID-19 stopped many in their tracks, the distribution center staff at MAP International worked tirelessly to ensure that medicines and health supplies reached those most in need around the world. In a year wrought with so many challenges, these team members behind the scenes ensured that MAP could continue to respond to global disasters and disease with health and hope.
