2.2 APPROACH: Recycling and Reuse in building

* Reuse- material is used multiple times without processing and does not require energy.

In architecture, reuse ranges from the reuse of materials and construction elements to the diversion of structures. * Recycling- material must be converted before it can be reused.

Recycling is an alternative to non-reusable waste and is often more cost effective than using traditional materials.

4.1 PROJECT DEFINAION AND PHILOSOPHY This project is a “visual art complex” as adobe for the underprivileged artist and provides space for them to make, share, exhibit, and sell their products under one roof.

I intend to impliment my idea of repurposing in architecrure through this project that provides shelter and work as one entity. Sharing while you work brings up a feeling of community and being together. An idea derived from my life xpeience of how life used to be when technology and nuclear living had not taken over community living. Times when three to four houses had a small coutyard area to live together, when one house has a television and sunday became the day when that house was the mandatory host.
