L’immaginazione in azione è energia, è il processo verso il luogo dell’infinito e dell’eterno che esiste dentro di noi. Esplorare questo luogo è il fine della mia ricerca umana e artistica. Questo workshop è finalizzato a esteriorizzare, rendere visibile, quella complessa architettura interiore composta dai vivi e dai morti della nostra famiglia, che condiziona la nostra esistenza e le nostre relazioni con gli altri. Studi di metagenealogia, sull’influenza che la famiglia ha su di noi, sono le basi teoriche di questa ricerca. Un albero genealogico è una storia di amori e di odi, un susseguirsi d’incontri inaspettati. Storie che raccontano come nell’unione le radici s’intrecciano, coltivano il desiderio di una discendenza cosciente. L’arte è lo strumento di questa ricerca, crea nuove domande, solleva inquietudini, sfiora il mistero dell’esistenza e apre allo stupore per la sua struggente bellezza. Ogni carenza di coscienza è un’origine di malessere e una mancanza di bellezza che trova nell’arte la sua compensazione. La bellezza ci evolve.

Il workshop risponde al desiderio di autoconoscenza dei partecipanti. La performance e le sue rappresentazioni visive sono le tecniche utilizzate per ottenere immagini rivelatorie. Le immagini così ottenute ci parlano con lo stesso linguaggio con cui ci parlano i sogni.
Cambiare è un atto rivoluzionario.
La vita sociale, personale e familiare è regolata da schemi. Il lavoro è orientato all’eliminazione di queste regole per arrivare all’essenza pura, alla disidentificazione totale che libera la vera personalità, che è la divinità, il diamante interiore. L’esplorazione del proprio albero è un viaggio iniziatico. La rappresentazione per immagini ne consente un racconto autentico e significativo che elude l’astrazione del linguaggio verbale. L’arte intesa come un’attività orientata alla presenza, alla coscienza, alla libertà di essere.

Il workshop Ogni partecipante realizza il suo ritratto familiare, una rappresentazione grafica e una fotografica basata sulla performance. Minimo 10 partecipanti, massimo 15.
1° giorno
1 - Realizzazione grafica del ritratto del proprio albero genealogico su supporto cartaceo di grandi dimensioni. 2 - Esposizione e lettura intuitiva delle opere. Portare: fotocopie delle foto dei parenti e delle persone per voi importanti, di luoghi e oggetti significativi per la storia familiare. Non è necessario saper disegnare.
2° giorno
1 - Allestimento teatrale del proprio albero genealogico con i partecipanti. 2 - Documentazione fotografica della performance. 3 - Lettura intuitiva dei portfoli. Portare: un abito di ricambio completamente bianco, accessori bianchi di qualsiasi genere, una macchina fotografica (va bene anche il telefonino). Non è necessario saper fotografare.

Questo workshop ci mostra che ognuno di noi ha gli strumenti per leggere e interpretare un’immagine. Ogni immagine prodotta è la sintesi di una lunga complessa storia, modificandola interveniamo alla costruzione di nuove possibilità, plachiamo un po’ la fame di conoscenza e la curiosità verso il mondo. Tutte le immagini, tutte le storie, creano un bosco fatto di relazioni, legano tutti gli alberi del mondo. Andando a ritroso nel tempo tutta l’umanità è la nostra famiglia. Grazie a tutti i portatori sani di storie che negli anni hanno lavorato con me, aprendosi come finestre su affascinanti universi altrimenti per me sconosciuti.

Imagination in action is energy; it is the process towards the place of the infinite and of the eternal that exists within us. To explore this place is the goal of my human and artistic quest. This workshop is aimed at expressing and making visible that complex inner architecture made up of the living and the dead members of our family that condition our existence and our relationships with others. Researches in metagenealogy, on the family’s influence on us, provide the theoretical basis of this research. A family tree is a love and hate story, a succession of unexpected encounters. Stories that narrate how the roots intertwine in the union, nourishing the desire for a conscious offspring. Art is the tool for this research: it raises new questions, causes unrest, brushes the mystery of the existence and opens to the wonder of its poignant beauty. Any lack of consciousness is a source of dis-ease and a lack of beauty that finds its compensation in art. Beauty evolves us. Artist and participant take care of a complex net of relationships, joined and allied on a journey of knowledge and of discovery.

The workshop addresses the participants’ desire of self-knowledge. The performance and its visual representations are the technics used to obtain revealing images. The images obtained in this manner talk to us in the same language as dreams do.
Changing is a revolutionary act.
Social, personal and family life are regulated by patterns. The work is aimed at eliminating these rules to access the core essence, the total disidentification that frees the true personality, the divinity, the interior diamond. Exploring one’s own tree is an initiation journey. The representation through images allows for an authentic and significant narration that eludes the abstract verbal language. Art intended as an activity oriented at the presence, the conscience, the freedom of being.

Il workshop Every participant creates his family portrait, a graphic representation and a performance based photograph. Minimum 10 participants, maximum 15 participants.
1st day
1.Grafic representation of one’s own family tree on large sheet of paper. 2.Presentation and intuitive reading of the works. Bring: Photocopies of family pictures and of people that matter to you, of significant places and objects for the family history. No knowledge of drawing is required.
2nd day
1.Theatre adaptation of one’s own family tree with the other participants. 3.Photografic documentation of the performance. 2. Intuitive reading of the portfolios. Bring: A change of clothes that is totally white, white accessories of any type, a photo camera (cell phone is fine too). No knowledge of photography is required.

SYLENT FAMILY creative experience
This workshop shows us that everyone of us has the tools to read and interpret an image. Every images that is produced is the synthesis of a long and complex story. By changing the image we intervene in the construction of new possibilities, we somewhat relieve our hunger for knowledge and the curiosity about the world. All the images, all the stories, create a wood made of relationships; they tie all the trees of the world together. Going back in time, all of humanity is our family. Thank you to all the healthy carriers of stories that over the years have worked with me, opening themselves up like windows onto fascinating universes that would have otherwise remained unknown to me.
