My journey in aesthetics hasn’t always been smooth but it’s been real, raw, and transformational.

I first fell in love with skincare as a teenager, watching my mum care for her skin religiously using Clarins. I followed in her footsteps, even borrowing her products while I was still at school. After leaving secondary school, I began modelling and trained with Faces in Rodney Street. I later joined Storm Model Agency in Manchester the same agency that represented Kate Moss where I learned how important skin health was to confidence and image. It sparked a lifelong passion in me for flawless, glowing skin

Although I enjoyed modelling, I knew deep down my true passion was in dermatology, skincare, and helping others feel their best. I trained in beauty and aesthetics.

I earned distinctions, and became qualified to teach. In 2008, I opened my first clinic, Flawless, in Birkenhead. For six years, it thrived.

But then I made a mistake. I invested heavily in machines from a company that turned out to be corrupt and dishonest. They claimed their devices were European but they weren’t. I used my entire cashflow and even asked my aunt to invest in the business to buy two advanced machines. Within 6 weeks, they began to fail. One blew up during a treatment. Another caused pain and damage. Support from the company vanished. I was left with broken equipment, debt, and a damaged reputation. I had no choice but to close the clinic I was devastated I felt like I’d lost everything. But that failure didn’t break me it rebuilt me

I took a job managing a highend clinic in Heswall and retrained in advanced dermatology and laser. I became passionate again, learning from the best and working with top brands like SkinCeuticals and Environ.

equipment sales and training, quickly becoming the top seller nationwide. With a new sense of purpose, I carefully researched certified European manufacturers, ensuring safety and results were never compromised again. I travelled to Italy to train with doctors near Venice, gaining expertise in Cryolipolysis, HIFU, Plasma, Fractional Lasers, and more. My confidence soared. Soon, I was offered a role as UK Brand Ambassador for one of the top Italian aesthetic manufacturers. I began training clinics and practitioners, all while selling devices with complete knowledge and trust. As my commissions grew, I reinvested into myself.

I bought the Mesotherm skin rejuvenation system and began treating clients from a small rented room in a Liverpool salon. The results were incredible skin tightening, hydration, glow, and real transformation. Word spread. Reviews flooded in I launched Facebook campaigns and live demos of Aesthetic machines from Biotec to supply to other Aesthetic clinic owners at Liverpool’s Hilton Hotel. The bookings followed.Within months, I purchased the 5th generation HIFU Renova, one of the most powerful non-surgical facelift systems on the market. This machine tripled my income in a matter of 8 months, I saved enough to open my own clinic again only this time, I did it on my own terms.

I launched Derma Cosmedic on Castle Street, Liverpool: A high-end medical aesthetic clinic

A team of doctors and aesthetic experts

And a mission that’s never changed: to transform skin, confidence, and lives Now, I hold a degree in Aesthetic Medicine, and I specialise in combining cutting-edge technologies like polynucleotides, skin boosters, microneedling RF, and advanced fat reduction with a holistic approach to skincare. I’ve helped thousands of clients regain their confidence. by focusing on excellence, ethics, and real results. .I have trained hundreds of students, they always leave my training courses full of confidence to set up their business and a wealth of knowledge in their chosen Aesthetic training.

What first sparked your interest in fashion design?

I’ve been designing fashion on and off since I was in primary school through my art, but at a later age, fashion became my way of escaping reality and a release of expression. My desire to create comes from my soul put out in a visual way for people to see.

How would you describe your design aesthetic ?

I would describe it as whimsical couture, with elements of fantasy, vintage and theatrical motifs. Where do you draw most of your inspiration—from art, culture, personal experience?

It comes from multiples eras, film, theatre, folklore and fantasy. My childhood was heavily inflicted by these genres and it shows through my designs today. Can you walk us through your creative process, from concept to finished piece?

I usually start with a drawn design and during the constructuring there will be a few or many changes. It depends on what my intuition guides me to do during the process. The drawn design is a loose guide to what the finished piece will look like Do you design for a particular type of person or lifestyle?

My designs are for whoever admires them, some pieces are more casual and some more extravagant, I assume people who require costume would wear them more so. Was there a breakthrough moment in your career that changed everything?

This year I have put my self out there in terms of creation and taking part in fashion shows, this has made a major impact on the trajectory of my life, the feedback and opportunities have been extremely positive and appreciated.

What are you looking forward to the most at Liverpool fashion Week?

I am looking forward to taking part of the show, networking and enjoying the night in general, I’m anticipating an amazing night. How do you want people to feel when they wear your designs?

When people wear my designs it fills my heart with joy, it makes me so happy that I can produce garments that make people feel amazing and confident in themselves. What values are most important to your brand?

Important things about my brand are to always produce quality garments, My brand is meant to encourage people who wear my designs to feel happy in expressing themselves through style.

black book... And host of The Liverpool Lifestyle Awards 2025

How did you come up with your drag name? It was actually a very unimaginative process… I found the name pretty and it reflected my Italian roots and came up with this How would you describe your drag persona in three words? Classy, bright and different Who or what inspires your drag aesthetic? Different people and things inspire different elements of my drag. For example, my comedy is inspired by greats such as Joan Rivers - my persona inspired by the the strong Italian women in my life. My work ethic by people like Lady Gaga.. What’s your favorite number/performance you’ve done and what made it special? I enjoy performing musical theatre songs. I enjoy the drama within them and being able to interact with the crowd and looking out for any other musical theatre fans. How do you prepare for a show, both mentally and physically? I take my time before a show to get ready with ease… Relaxing my mind perhaps watching a few episodes of the Golden Girls.

What got you into drag in the first place? Peer pressure back in Sicily 2014. Never thought in a million years it was the career I would have been doing.

How has drag influenced your identity or personal growth? I've learned a lot about myself - my positives and negatives- I've learned to see myself from the outside looking in and that's when the party really begins. What’s something your fans would be shocked to learn about you? I'm an Eastenders addict.

Liverpool Witch Trials

Whispers of witchcraft across Merseyside, and research suggests more cases than originally thought, with executions likely occurring in villages like Rainford.

While there weren't major Liverpool Witch Trials, the area experienced accusations and trials in the 17th century, with one notable case being Margaret Loy or Ley in 1667, who confessed to witchcraft. The broader region was affected by famous events like the 1612 Pendle Witch Trials, where some accused individuals came from or were associated with areas near Merseyside. Research has identified more cases in the region, and the folklore of "witches" in places like St Helens persists today.

Over 350 years ago two witches lived on Castle Street, Liverpool. A widow named Bridge confessed to being a witch since the death of her mother 30 years before – her mother also being a witch. Bridge and her unmarried sister Margaret Loy had inherited their Familiars (evil spirits in animal form) from their destitute mother who had nothing else to leave them. Also living in the household was widow Bridge’s daughter.

Margaret Loy (or Ley) (1667):

A significant case from Liverpool, where Margaret was accused of witchcraft. She confessed to having been a witch for 30 years and mentioned her unusual inheritance of "familiars" from her mother.

Pendle Witch Trials (1612):

While not directly in Liverpool, these are the most famous witch trials in Lancashire, and some accused individuals were from the broader Merseyside area. The trials began when a young woman called Alizon Device, from Pendle Hill in Lancashire, was accused of cursing a local shopkeeper who soon afterwards fell sick. The trial of the 12 Pendle witches in 1612 was the most famous in England. They were accused of murdering 10 people using witchcraft.

A stage play entitled The Late Lancashire Witches, written by Thomas Heywood and Richard Brome, was published in 1634. The play is based on the subject of the 1633 Lancashire witchcraft trials. Undoubtedly it is William Shakepeare who shaped the popular depiction of witches in his play Macbeth, first performed in 1606.

In 1736 Parliament passed an Act repealing the laws against witchcraft, but imposing fines or imprisonment on people who claimed to be able to use magical powers. The Act was repealed in 1951 by the Fraudulent Mediums Act which in turn was repealed in 2008.

Witches, real or imagined, have always gathered in circles supporting, teaching, and protecting one another. Feminist communities today echo that spirit, whether it’s through activism, mentorship, or simply sharing wisdom and encouragement. The witch is no longer a solitary figure in the woods; she’s a collective force, proving that women are strongest when they lift each other up. Even witchy fashion
