Author of The Auburn Guide: A True Story of Spirit, Survival and Awakening, written by

and published this year, It explores trauma, resilience, and intuition

Over ten years in the making, The Auburn Guide is more than just a book for Paphos based spiritual teacher, Sarah Williams. It is the story of a lifetime of experiences, challenges, selfdiscovery and the journey towards understanding her own unique gift. For Sarah, writing the book was never simply about putting words on a page. It was about sharing her truth, making sense of everything she had experienced and creating something that could help others.

For Sarah, writing the book was never simply about putting words on a page. It was about sharing her truth, making sense of everything she had experienced and creating something that could help others. She said, “This book became something I couldn't ignore. I tried putting it away several times, but Spirit kept nudging me back to it. It took me over ten years to write because I wasn't just writing a story - I was healing while I wrote it. My hope is that anyone reading it feels a little less alone and realises that even our most difficult experiences can lead

our most difficult experiences can lead us somewhere beautiful. “

Split into two powerful parts, The Auburn Guide takes readers through Sarah's own emotional and spiritual journey before moving into a guide designed to support and inspire others.

The first half of the book focuses on Sarah's life story: her struggles she has faced, the challenges she has overcome and the experiences that shaped the person she is today. It is an honest reflection of resilience, growth and finding strength through adversity.

Sarah said, “Life hasn't always been easy. I've experienced trauma, loss, grief and many moments where I questioned everything. Looking back now, I wouldn't change those experiences because they've shaped who I am today. They taught me resilience, compassion and, most importantly, that healing isn't about forgetting the past - it's about acknowledging the lessons from those experiences and learning to move forward with hope.”

The second half of the book is a practical guide designed to help you develop your own spiritual connection with confidence. Through guided meditations and exercises, you'll learn how to meet your spirit guides, strengthen your intuition and psychic senses, develop your clairs, work with a pendulum, understand signs and symbols from Spirit, protect your energy

While many may see mediumship as a fascinating ability, Sarah is open about the challenges that come with it.

There was a time when she felt unable to switch it off, with spiritual communication becoming overwhelming and difficult to manage.

Sarah said, “For a long time I thought everyone experienced Spirit the way I did. It wasn't something I understood - it was simply part of my everyday life. As I got older, I realised it wasn't something everyone experienced, and at times it became overwhelming. I had to learn that having this gift didn't mean I had to be available to Spirit every moment of every day.”

Sarah has learned the importance of protecting her own energy. Through experience and spiritual practice, she developed techniques that allow her to create what she describes as a protective bubble, giving her control over when she connects with spirit rather than feeling like she is constantly receiving messages.

SShe said, “One of the biggest lessons I learned was that boundaries aren't and build trust in your own abilities. Each exercise is designed to help you gain comfort, clarity and a deeper understanding of your unique spiritual gifts, empowering you to develop your connection with Spirit

I visualise what I call my protective bubble, where I decide when I'm open to communication and when I'm simply living my own life. That changed everything. It allowed me to enjoy the gift instead of feeling consumed by it. There was a time I would be chasing people in a street to give messages, my energy was consumed constantly, now that I have put boundaries in place, working with spirit is much easier.”

That understanding has allowed Sarah to use her abilities in a positive way, supporting others throughspiritual workshops and tarot readings. Her approach is centred around helping people find reassurance, reflection and guidance during some of life's biggest moments.

She said, “More than anything, I hope readers finish the book feeling less alone. We all face challenges that can leave us questioning ourselves, but I've learned that even our darkest moments can become the beginning of something new. If my story encourages someone to trust themselves a little more, listen to their intuition and believe that healing is possible, then the book has done exactly what I hoped it would.”

Since beginning to share her story, Sarah has found herself attracting attention from audiences around the world. She has been invited onto many podcasts where listeners have connected with her experiences, her honesty and her message.

Her growing following is built not only on her spiritual abilities but on the openness with which she shares her personal journey. Sarah's story resonates because it is about more than mediumship, it is about survival, transformation and finding purpose. After over a decade of writing, The Auburn Guide marks a significant milestone in Sarah's journey. It brings together her personal experiences, her spiritual knowledge and her desire to help others understand themselves on a deeper level.

For Sarah Jane Williams, this is not the end of the journey, it is the beginning of a new chapter.

She has been on many podcasts that inspired her to create her own, called The Auburn Conversations which will be raw and honest conversations with normal people navigating their awakenings. It launches in September.

“My hope is that people don't just read my story - they see a little of themselves in it. If they've ever questioned their path, doubted themselves or wondered if anyone else has felt the way they do, I want them to know they're not alone. I hope the book gives them the confidence to trust themselves, embrace their own journey and realise that even life's most difficult experiences can lead to something meaningful.”

Between the Signals

A red silhouette moves through a landscape shaped by lines, rhythms and industrial geometry. Against the backdrop of urban architecture, bold visual markers emerge a striped bag, contrasting footwear and vibrant color accents. The boundary between body and object gradually dissolves as accessories become an extension of the figure and the figure becomes part of the composition itself. Each element functions as a signal, guiding the viewer's eye through the frame and creating a contemporary story about color, movement and visual identity.

How did you get into fashion styling?

I have worked as a model since I was 19, so fashion has always been part of my life — as an industry, a cultural phenomenon and a show I took part in two beauty pageants, modelled for FashionTV, and in 2024 walked in Milan during Fashion Week as a mature model Working in front of the camera made me curious about everything happening behind it. I wanted to understand how fashion editorials are created and how styling, photography, location and concept come together. I began studying this professionally while continuing to model Today, I work as a creative director, producer and fashion stylist on my own editorials and projects for different brands

What are your favourite brands to work with?

I enjoy working with brands that create highquality outerwear and accessories, as these pieces often define the whole silhouette. I am also inspired by evening dresses, tuxedos and classic tailored suits. I love velvet, jacquard, lace and leather.

For me, the most important things are quality, a clear identity and an original visual language. I am especially drawn to conceptual designers and unexpected combinations

What staple basics should every woman have in her wardrobe?

A well-cut blazer, a white shirt, perfectly fitting trousers, quality denim, a simple dress and a good coat.

I would also add one strong accessory — a bag, shoes or jewellery that can transform a simple look. Most importantly, every woman should understand her proportions and choose clothes that suit her lifestyle and personality.

What key trends are you looking out for?

I am interested in monochrome looks, sculptural silhouettes, expressive accessories and modern tailoring.

I watch runway shows and fashion editorials almost every day. I am always impressed by the way designers reinterpret familiar ideas and surprise us with new shapes, concepts and combinations.

What’s been your most expensive purchase?

My most expensive fashion purchases were a Missoni dress and coat that I bought in Italy However, price and label are not the main things for me I look first at the quality of the fabric, construction, fit and how long the piece will remain relevant.

How is fashion evolving?

Fashion is becoming more open and individual, with fewer strict rules

Designers continue to question familiar ideas and offer new ways of looking at the body, clothing and beauty This constant reinvention is what keeps fashion alive and interesting.

Lighting Fires is Strictly Prohibited

The Ayia Napa Municipality is informing residents and visitors that, according to an announcement by the Department of Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, the lighting of fires is strictly prohibited inside state forests, as well as within a two-kilometre zone from their boundaries. During the summer months, the risk of wildfires starting and spreading is significantly increased. Even the smallest act of negligence can put human lives, the natural environment and properties at serious risk. It is reminded that lighting a fire without permission constitutes an offence and carries strict penalties. In cases where a fire is caused, even heavier penalties apply under the law.

CLOSING ONE DOOR AND OPENING ANOTHER:

This month I closed the door on my LIverpool home for the final time, and as I stood there looking around at the rooms that had held so many memories, I found myself reflecting on just how much life had happened within those walls. A house is never simply a building; it becomes a collection of moments, emotions, milestones and memories. It holds the laughter of family gatherings, the quiet moments after difficult days, the celebrations, the challenges and all the little everyday moments that, over time, become the story of a life.

I felt a mixture of emotions. There were tears, but they were not tears of sadness. They were tears of recognition — the realisation that I was not simply leaving a property behind; I was closing the door on a significant chapter of my life. That home represented years of hard work, determination and sacrifice. It represented the dreams I had built, the battles I had overcome and the person I had become along the way. It was a place where my children grew up, where we created memories together and where so many important moments of our lives took place.

But as I left, I also realised I was leaving behind old versions of myself.

she had to prove herself. The entrepreneur who worked endlessly to build something from nothing.

The person who carried the weight of responsibility and believed she always had to be strong.

The version of me who sometimes measured success by what I had achieved rather than who I had become. Over the years, life teaches you that your identity is not attached to a house, a postcode, a business, a title or possessions. Those things are chapters of your story, but they are not the whole story. The most valuable things we carry with us are the lessons, the resilience, the relationships and the strength we gain through every experience. This move is not about losing something; it is about embracing change. It is about accepting that sometimes we have to let go of what we know in order to create space for what comes next.

A new home means new memories. A new chapter means new opportunities. A fresh start means the chance to redefine what happiness, success and fulfilment look like.

Life has taught me that endings are often beginnings in disguise. Closing one door can feel overwhelming, but sometimes it is exactly what we need to step through the next one.

So, as I close this chapter with gratitude for everything it gave me, I look forward with excitement to everything that is still waiting to be written. Because home is not just where we have been.

Home is where we are going next.
