What void is Oirasye trying to fill?

Klal Yisroel are blessed with many “learning” yungerleit. Few of them are using their full potential. Many of them are not being encouraged enough to delve deeper to further clarify what they are learning. Many are capable of holding a official Rabbinical position or a ‫ מגיד שיעור‬in a ‫ישיבה‬, but there are not enough positions available, and therefore causing their potential to be wasted.

What is Torah Dilei? An organisation based in Eretz Yisroel to inspire Bochurim to write Torah.

What Do They Write? Each Yeshiva sets its own guidelines. Some Yeshivos only allow Chidushei Torah, whilst others encourage summaries or Shiurim given in Yeshiva to be written with clarity.

What does Torah Dilei do with the written work they receive? Twice a week a representative collects from the allocated Post-box in the Yeshiva, it gets scanned and sent to Eretz Yisroel, where it gets typed up by the main office, and returned to the Yeshiva to be checked over by the designated Hanholo member in the Yeshiva.

What happens once its been corrected/approved? Twice a year, softback personalised booklets are printed. Each one is a collection of all that the individual Bochur has written.

What effect does this have on the Bochur involved? The satisfaction of the Bochur seeing a printed version of the many Sugyas that he has written on, and become deeply connected to, is absolutely incredible!

When & Where was Torah Dilei established? About Five years ago it was established in Eretz Yisroel, with over 80 Yeshivos benefiting from this tremendous system. About 1½ years ago it was established in England, currently running in ‫ישיבת שערי תורה‬, Manchester, with other UK Yeshivos in the pipe-line hopefully joining soon.

How can I help? We are preparing for a crowd-funding campaign ‫בס"ד‬, together with Oirayse. We can only produce according to the funds. Every extra £ will have an effect. You decide how much Torah is produced
